    Default Need archer build advice

I building a horc bard/archer/barbarian combo and I just wanted to find out what dex is required for an archer running epics? I know the STR on the build will be quite high, and so will its perform skill (don't even need to invest in cha). I just need to make sure I have sufficient dex to actually land shots.

My background is wizards so I have no idea about melee/archers.

If your'e going archer you need slayer arrows to not completely suck which means if you're going Horc you need at least 18 ranger levels.

16 dex is typically accepted as the amount to aim for.

This guy has a point. A bard-archer will need to be an elf, and a horc cant be a good AA unless he has 18 ranger levels. Bard makes for a decent splash class though, so 18/1/1 Ranger/bard/barb would work well and you could indeed get a very good preform skill from this splash...
