    Default Re-applying an Armor Kit

I'm sure this is the case for many of you out there, but I didn't know that once you applied an armor kit, it stayed on the current armor and doesn't apply to all armors. I figured it would work like the tri-cornered hat in the DDO store and make all armor look like the kit. We have a cheap 10 point option to remove a kit, how about say a 50 point option to remove an armot kit so we can place it on the armor we either meant to or would really like to. I realize I just misread the description of how the kit worked, but now I have a Spiral kit (most expensive one at the time I bought it) that's going to sit on an armor I'm not going to use.

I think you mentioned the solution to your problem. Read the fine print...

but yeah, it would be nice to have a slightly more expensive removal item that allows you to keep the kit, so you're able to place it again on another set of armor.

Well, I'm not looking for an easy button. Sometimes people just make a mistake. That said, we have already paid for the kit. I realize Turbine makes its money off of our indecisiveness - I get it for my say Red dragon armor, then they come out with epic GH and I want it on my Blue Armor. But if I have to pay 350 points again to buy a new kit, I might be deterred and stick with my Red. This would reduce the need to grind the blue for that toon and also the want for spending points on the new armor's kit. I'd gladly pay 50 or even 100 (or hell if it's not too hard to implement, 1/3 of the kit's price) to switch it over. It's a suggestion and Turbine would both gain and lose money for various reasons either way, but I think players would be more satisfied one way over the other, and we should be the focus.

Hmm I agree there should be a way to transfer an armor kit you bough from one piece of armor to a different one. Partly because people can accidentally apply it to an unwanted armor or eventually want a different armor.

Currently I am sure a lot of people are making the mistake of applying armor kits to armors they don't want sadly. 600-300 Turbine points is a lot to spend and make a mistake like that.

When I first heard of the idea of armor kits I thought they would be a window that comes up and you could cycle through pieces to customize any armor you had into what ever you wanted. But I guess it didn't go down the way I thought it would.

Ultimately I wish DDO had the foresight to actually make the armor kit applied to your character permanently. Even after you TR. That you could wear with any set of armor you put on. Then you could apply your armor kit to it and see if you like that armor kit on that particular armor as well. But in the world we live in...

There should also be a drop down list as to which armor kit you want to apply so that you could have more than 1 armor kit attached to your character. Similar to having additional bank slots purchased. Giving you the ability to acquire multiple armor kits.
