I finally got a Scourge Choker last night. I always wanted one to decorate my bank but I figured I'd play around with it to see how it works.

This is what I gathered.

On hit (very high % chance) Blood Rage I procs giving a stacking +2 Str/Con with a 4 Second Duration.

If you are hit again the Blood Rage I reprocs and the timer is reset meaning the most you'll get out of the choker during that combat moment is +2 Str/Con.

If the Blood Rage I is allowed to expire it turns into Blood Rage II which is also +2 Str/Con but lasts 8 Seconds. If that expires, it turns into Blood Rage III which is +4 Str/Con and lasts 12 seconds. After BRIII expires you are debuffed with "Blood Rage Sated" for 12 seconds which reduces attack speed by 50%.

Here is where it gets interesting.

If BRI expires and become BRII, then you are hit again and BRI procs you will have both BRI and BRII for a total bonus of +4 Str/Con. When BRII expires and becomes BRIII, the other BRI becomes BRII, and if you are hit again and proc a fresh BRI you *CAN* have BRI II and III all on at the same time for a total bonus of +8 Str/Con (which matches the item description).

I have two questions however:

1. After the first BRIII expires I am still hit with the "Blood Lust Sated" debuff even though I still have some combination of BRI and/or BRII active. Am I missing something? I don't see the point of having +2 to +8 Str/Con if I am going to be swinging 50% slower.

2. I know the debuff is only 12 seconds but is there any immunity to it or way to "cleanse" the debuff?

Thanks in advance.
