It seems that when you say that the game is way too easy, you are trying to complain that the epic rewards were too good for the quest difficulty, or that you need to spend little time (compared to the usual epic items) to get it.
I agree that the quest (lvl 25) is easy compared to other epic stuff, but as already said here, it is probably a mistake/bug from developers. Mobs should be harder to deal with.
But I also agree that it is not entertaining to farm epic stuff from the "usual" quests (and very far from fair). Mass hold monster, irresistible dance and invisibility. Random drops. Not a challenge.
An epic counter would be nice and more fair regarding epic grinding. I have a friend that took 7 months to get the scroll that a guildie got in two runs.
Anyway, looking to how the game works, you spend time to get epic gear that makes your toon uber and consequently making the other runs easier (or better saying, you spend time in your wizard/sorcerer getting epic stuff to share among the other toons in your account)... and since the objective is to make the subsequent runs easier I don't see a point here.
If you want hard stuff go run a naked shroud or amrath quests using starter items .
Just fix the difficulty of CC runs and bring it back.
