No need to buy veteran status.. just playing and leveling up you will unlock that pretty easily.

You definitely want to end up buying Gianthold and the Vale of Twilight First (just so you have them for the future). Gianthold has good XP and will serve you well mid levels.

Vale of twilight will be where you will spend alot of your higher level toon life with Shroud raid farming.. plus it gets you access to the Hound of Xoriat and Vision of Destruction raids.

The sands of Menechtraun is not a bad choice either if you can squeeze it in, as well as vault of night.

Yeah i heard about vale , where you can get greensteel stuff - have not looked into that yet , can i craft greensteel before level 16?

I will put in some more turbine points next month , maybe take gianthold and wait with Vale?
    Shared bankslots maybe?

Vault seems good with the ability to get 150 favor with kundarak easily and get 20 more bankslots?

    Thankyou Twitchster!

You can start crafting greensteel blank weapons as soon as 14-15 (sooner if you can survive the quests out there to get the ingredients).. but to be able to upgrade the 3 tiers on the weapons/armor you will have to start running the shroud. Around level 16 is when most people start.

You can never go wrong with shared bank.. though with patience you might catch it on sale for cheaper.

Vault is a good series of quests that are fun and a couple of them are really good for XP, plus you get a decent raid with it. The bankslots and favor are a nice perk as well.

Waiting to take Vale is fine.. just be sure it is on your to-do-list.

If you are not in a hurry.. sales roll around pretty frequently for packs so you do not take such a huge hit from buying the ones you want. Just keep an eye out for them.

You must be min lvl 12 to enter the Vale area. Quests in there for flagging for Shroud is lvl 16. So yes theoretically you can start crafting greensteeles before lvl 16. Theoretically because it would be on the expense of a lot of nice xp, and i guess you would get some serious problems finding a grp.
I find starting the shroudflagging at lvl 14 to be best min lvl, because you can go for grps in lvlrange 14-17 for max xp without any penalties.

The free content will begin to thin out once you get to level 10-12. It's certainly possible to reach level 20 without any paid content at all, especially now that they've added some higher-level free content, but it will get very hard. I would also vote that Gianthold and Vale of Twilight are going to give you the best bang for your buck - I actually capped my first character with just those two packs. Gianthold is full of level 13-14 quests and lots of xp, while Vale will get you three raids and some excellent crafted weapons and items. While it's physically possible to craft greensteel items and weapons at level 16, it's more likely you'll be running that raid at levels 18-20.

IIRC, there's enough free House K favor to get your second bank slot. I don't know about the third, but I doubt it. The Vault of Night is a good pack, but there are probably some other things that are going to be more useful, as there are lots of quests that are free in its level range. Adventure packs should probably be your focus for now, though - Vale, Gianthold and Sands are probably the trinity of best packs. They'll go on sale from time to time, so keep an eye out for what you can get a deal on. Don't worry about buying veteran's status - you'll earn it for free soon enough. In any case, have fun, and welcome!

For lower level questing I would recommend getting either Delera's Tomb or
Tangleroot Gorge. Delera's is probably the better purchase as it has more variety and better loot. Voice of the Master in particular is a guaranteed end reward that is useful throughout a character's lifespan.

At level six, and want to kill skellies. I'd go Delara's and the Necropolis packs. Sewers you can find in House D. I think the Depths chain is f2p.

And like others said you can't go wrong with Gianthold, Vale, and Sands. Sands being where you'd find the Ring of Spell Storing and I believe the Torc.

A couple of personal favorites of mine though at Shan-to-kor and Tangleroot. I just really like those quests.

I think undoubtedly the best 3 packs are Sands, Vale and GH. Can't go wrong there.. Plenty of quests and raids to keep you until Lvl 20.

If you like sewers, Shan-To-Kor might be one you'd enjoy. However, at level 6 you'll soon outgrow its XP range and its so-so end rewards. If you make additional toons, they'll love it.

If you like skeletons and tons of XP, definitely grab Delera's Tomb! That can easily help you get to level 12, and the end rewards are sweet! I grab the Voice of the Master on all of my toons for the 5% XP bonus!

I always wait for things to go on sale for 50% off in the DDO Store, which gives Turbine Points more buying power. 2025 of them can get a good amount of stuff, if you're patient.

Delera for fast leveling up from 6 to 10
then the best u can have are Gianthold and Vale of Twilight!!

As secondary choice (after u get the ones I listed before) u can go with Von, Menectharun, Reaver's Refuge for easy ending exp with kill and explorer (rotfl),+2 tome and Dragon touch armors and Shavarath

Delera's Tomb - voiced by Gary Gygax. Old style dungeon full of undead. Some aweseome end of chain rewards, in particular Carnifex, Golden Cartouche, Voice of the Master. Some very good XP for running it.

    Shared bank. Pure awesomeness.

Sorrowdusk Isle, another classic d&d feel dungeon - with a two chains of quests.

what you want to buy will depend on your play style.
if it's going to take a while to get to high level, hold off on buying
vale and gianthold until they go on sale. (unknown at this time when the next one will be).

If you like to create lots of characters, the shared bank slot will be a must as will extra
    character slots.

whatever you do, don't waste your turbine points on drow (unlocks at 400 favor) or veteran
    (unlocks at 1000 favor).

32pt build could be worth purchasing if you're in a hurry, but they aren't all that much better than
    28pt builds.

as mentioned above, Delera's is a good pack to buy as is Tangleroot.
I love sorrowdusk (plus it has nice favor- approx 100 favor for running it all on elite)
someone might be able to help me on this but, greymoon goes 3,4,3,4 favor i think. and
co6 is 4 per quest with 6 quests.

the only other area i'd suggest getting (that hasn't been suggested above) is necro iv.
necro 1-3 are tedious and painful (though the silver flame necklace is quite nice to have) so I wouldn't
recommend putting any priority on buying them.
The Office of the Exchequer. 1750 on all live servers via Pure pugging. Thank you very much to all who helped carry a gimp . (wayfinder was a soloist build)

Well, if you're tight on points and are looking for the best deal for XP/loot, the rest have chimed in.

For me, if you're looking for some variety or just wanna explore, any of the adventure packs will be good. Catacombs has a nice storyline, Sharn-To-Kor is different and quite a challenge, and 3-Barrel Cove is a nice flavour pack. Although if you're looking for the best deals, these might not be your priority at the moment.

demon sands , gaint hold and vale are most inportand (to me)

outhers to consider : (deleras) , necro 4 , shavarath

most packs are nice but the top 3 i would call the core and could spend all levels 10-20 just doing them and contain the most run raids.

the once below are less inportand but have nice xp and loot thats usefull for most classes , outher classes have nice loot to but its more dependent on class. or there not that usefull at the end game

deleras is nice to have becous its verry good xp early one and has a + % xp trinket but i would considere it far from essential.

Now i got exactly the feedback i wanted, thankyou all.

First i will buy....... *drumrolls* Deleras tomb!
I saw the poor lonesome ghostgirl stand all alone at the gy , and i do want to have Gary Gygax as DM.

After that i got a clear picture now of what i should buy , i wont tell you just incase someone from turbine customer service reading this and takes future discount decision based on that hehe =P

    Regards
