First, considering how I didn't PUG during the event, I don't see how I could have ripped any PUG's head off.
Second, I almost never rip anyone's head off.
Third, as you said, your original question (you edited your OP so I can't quote it) was "why it kills them to lend a hand" to "less fortunate folk" when they have "so much". That was the question I have been answering all along. THIS question, and not the "unsavory attitude" part is what got me. It implies that there is some sort of moral duty to help people in a video game get things they want. There is not. You can argue whether there even is in real life. I would say there is for things NEEDED (but not for things WANTED). But, in a video game, nothing is necessary and everything is gravy. Thus, I said they should work for it the same way I did if they want it. You are implying that someone SHOULD choose to group with "less fortunate folks" to help them get the items they need in a video game if they have a choice. I have never defended being rude to someone. You are refusing to separate the two concepts (being rude to a PUG when there is less than perfect completion and choosing to PUG for less than perfect completion to help the PUGs get their items) but they are indeed two very distinct issues.
