All Caster (PM preferred) ToD! 2/12 @ 7 PM EST

Saturday March 12th at 7 PM EST a bunch of arcane casters, tired of discriminatory ToD groups only ever taking 1 or 2 of us decided to show the world what a bunch of arcances could do!

Part 1 went very smoothly. 0 pots used.


Had Axer kite in part 2, and he did a good job, even if he kept insisting a barbarian should have been doing it. Again, no pots and very smooth.


Initially, Lacer was tanking Horoth over at the usual spot between a couple thrones, with all of the PMs hanging out on his back to provide healing and others nuking away. When Sulu dropped, we had the sorcerers and WF peel off to take him down in the no-stun corner, but found that the PMs were out-pacing the WF and Horoth was going to go down much sooner than Sulu, so we moved Horoth close enough for the PMs to turn in place and fire at his Vodness:



Up to this point we had had no deaths and zero, or almost zero pot usage for the entire group. I know that Ryial had used a couple of pots, mostly due to not having the cheap/free filler nukes that the PMs and AMs have. If he had decided to skip Sulu, we would have finished in the 30-40 minute range with 0 deaths and essentially 0 pots used, but we weren't going to settle for a half-completed job (mostly at the insistence of Axer and Lacer).

Our first death came intentionally, as we let Angryscrews bite it when he went incapped in order to make sure we didn't kill Horoth too soon. The other two deaths that followed were not planned. Ultimately, though, we kicked ass!

Can prolly go. Wouldn't be terribly useful dps since my wiz isn't evocation spec'd anymore, but got max epic gear and polar rays i guess (eardweller, staff of power, tevi sash, etc)

I have full fire/cold and AM4 , specced for Enchant (2 focus) and Conjuration (1 focus). Both only 2nd level SLA (Hypno, Resistable Dance, Grease, Web). 497hp without Yugo pot, 40dc web, 42dc enchant with yugo pot.

It fits, barely.

Can I ask why is it you think you have to be evocation spec'd to do dps with a caster lol?
