Is it ok to put collectable bags , gem bags, etc in the bank with items in them? Will the itmes inside be ok? I thought I read somewhere that they could disappear but could not find anything recent about it, has it been "fixed"? Thanks

You can, just beware of lagging, thats what can cause the items to disappear. I have a few of the exclusive collectable bags from Phiarlan that I keep in my bank.

Does it happen often to people, or it rarely?

I've heard it happening before, but I can't really say if its often or not, its generally suggested that if your concerned about items disappearing because of lag, transfer a trash item first to make sure that everything is dandy.
