    Lightbulb VIP-only Server?

    why not?

Let VIPs freely COPY (keeping the original) any character once to that server, but not be able to transfer back out to a regular server, unless maybe through a paid transfer.

Some guilds only play with themselves, and this way they could enjoy all the raids etc. with friends without worrying about lag they don't pay for, among other benefits.

I'm VIP and honestly, i wouldn't transfer on a VIP only server!

It's sometimes really hard to fill groups for raid that a new VIP-only server would make things worse...

How common is it for people to only have VIP friends? I mean, that guild that only does guild runs: are they all VIP? None of them are Premium? I would imagine people would lose a lot of their friends by going to a VIP only server, and thus wouldn't go. Again, I imagine that said server would have a pretty small population, to the point of making it hard to get full raid parties together.

Being a VIP doesn't make you a better player

I was talking about a server with less, preferably no lag, with everyone paying for just their own connection to it, if you're mostly going to play with other subscribing friends anyway.

    1) Why?
I really dont see no reason for that. Turbine decided to go the F2P path and they are doing great. One winning decision was not to segregate the playerbase, but stick them together. No "we against them" mechnics. And it worked. So WHY go back?

    2) Really?
So because i'm a premium I'm not allowed in your VIP club because you possible spend more money? Making a new server for VIP would be a slap to the face of all loyal premium players, of whom many are spending a similar amount of $ on the game.

    3) No!
Instead of introducing a new server with less lag, the overall server preformance could be upgraded. Also anything that consumes time from general game development is a waste of time Turbine doesnt have.

And plz try to understand that even if turbine calls you vip you are infact not very important and the premium isnt better either. we get what we pay for and we are not entitled to get more.

Lag existed in this game long before any F2P. Lag is a part of every online game. Should have been here for Module 4 and that wonderful experience.

I hate to point out the flaw in your logic here, but am going to anyway

Just because you have a server full of people who have paid a subscription does not mean that there will be less lag. Lag can be from a number of different sources not just server lag . Ever been far from the node your provider has set up? do you know what that does to your download/upload speeds? Use wireless? That alone can cause significant lag issues.

I think your issue may be more with the people who join pugs for p2p quests not realizing that they don't have access. This tends to happen a lot in lower level quests which is where most new players tend to figure out what's going on. Sure it can be frustrating and all but when you get to higher level stuff it tends to happen less.

Know what I do when a f2p joins one of my pugs? Probably not so I'll tell you. Generally if they are not jerks I will buy them a pass with the points I get from being a vip. Most of the passes are not too expensive (the most is what 180 tp or so..). So I buy them a pass and teach them what I can about the game or the quest/quests we are running. Generally people react very positively when this happens. And who knows if you do the same you might make some friends.

In short, if you are frustrated with f2p players and their lack of knowledge, help them to know what you do!

I guess sarcasm is easier. Yes, your $10-30 investment is a big deal, you deserve your own server. VIP means alot. Lord knows long term players and Euros are just clamouring for low pop servers again too. Good idea mate.

Do you even know how much Turbine Points I may have bought?

Are you sure I don't have any other accounts? What about friends that were introduced to the game through me and bought their own accounts?

Since you generalized so much from my join date, how about this instead: I have spent less time on a video game and on it's forums, therefore I am more successful at real life, which means I have more money that I can afford to spend. Does that work better? No? How about we start ASSuming a little less then.

Way to fail at coming with anything relevant to the topic instead of attempting petty ad hominems.

You'll never be able to dictate how people respond to you on the internet, so get over it.

I say no, because I've bought everything this game has to offer without going VIP, even a character slot. I've spent quite a bit of money to take advantage of the 50 dollar double bonus points every single time it comes up. Why does that constitute that you should get another perk, and I should not? You're not offering any valid points to further separate a VIP from Premium account. Then you're getting upset that no one wants to participate in a discussion that is completely one-sided.

    To reiterate, get over it.

So how is it that premium players are not paying for the game, when they spend $25-50 every couple months for point bundles and buy content instead of $10-15/month to rent content?
