Oh boo - I wanted him to say you guys were extending the deadline for taking Crystal Cove offline. That thing is too good to be mothballed, and I wish it could go on for at least a couple more days

Oh, and PLEASE try to get those Kobold voices into quests ingame where there are already Kobolds!

Having that voiceover work made the quests so entertaining that few people minded the grind at all.

    Hello DDO Team!

The "new content system" mentioned in the letter (and appearing now inside the event) seems to be referring to the expected revamp to our current Epic System, which is most thrilling to know!

Just curious, does DDO have any future plan to extend into the realm of High-level Play, and could this be coming with some really epic end-game quests/raids, say, some evil dracolich trying to conquer whole Xen'drik?

Also, hoping for more adventure packs that lead us into previously unexplored planes and so on

Thank you all for your hard works! /salute

Founders get a bonus to the hat... VIPs get a bonus to the hat... I wonder what kinda bonus Fernando gets? Really hope he does another interview with Ten Ton Hammer for a preview of 2011 treats!

The ability to select from a broad range of quest levels like you do in Crystal Cove is also an important component of an all new content system we are working on for later this year.
This is good news. Especially for TRs who need a ton of xp in high levels but have very few quests to choose from.

And of course we have lots of new adventure packs coming your way - primarily focusing on the top levels of the game - that are unique, atmospheric, challenging and very fun!
Thanks for finally filling up that gap. It makes me want to TR some more.

I really would like to see the PRE's for those classes/races that dont have them fairly soon as well as some Amarath items for a Favored Soul.

    Content for End Game.

overall enjoyed the Event. Saddly I only was able to do the preview and Thurday. I still was able to get some stuff, but would have enjoyed more time. I live on and am ok if it doesnt come back.

I would like to see more events in the future a summer/fire or spring/earth or storm perhaps

Epic Reboot! Based on the threads sirgog and others have posted, MadFloyd and Eladrin's public comments.

Base the new epic crafting system on the recent crafting stuff, like the events, and make it all bind to account instead of character.

    and content, content, content.

Default Discussion Topics for the State of the Game

Fernando mentioned an upcoming "State of the Game"

Here's some info I like to see him touch on:

    1) New Races
    2) New Classes
    3) Is there anything planned beyond level 20?
    4) Guild Capes (I keep bringing this up)
    5) Greensteel Deconstruction
    6) Completion of the Race/Class PrE's

I'd most like to hear about:

A time line and rough order of finishing the PrEs

Epic reboot release, and mechanical changes. Along with epic crafting/drop rate/consistancy changes. Is the new CR selecton tech in the event what we are looking at for epic quests, etc?

Any more words about CR 18+ quests and raids would be great too

May I suggest that the executive producer of the game avoid the phrase "Your britches with be overflowing" in the future

On a more serious note it does seem that the new level scaling tech is being put in the game in a larger fashion. I must say I am very dubious about this working decently as the last foray into this type of territory produced dungeon scaling which in my opinion has done horrible damage to the game.

I would be extremely interested in the state of the Druid class, even if the specifics are hush-hush.

As a secondary note, perhaps some more information regarding Ninja-Spy II would be nice.

The letter was fantastic, I very much enjoyed this event, truly the most fun I've ever had playing DDO! Gratz to everyone who helped put it together!

After all the time we've been waiting between updates would it have killed Turbine to give us at least SOME details?

Actually would like the player vs player area ramped up a bit. Maybe get some xp based on the lvl of player you beat. Add some daily leader boards and maybe world rankings. Different areas based on lvl. That would be pretty cool.

Thanks for the letter and the Pirate event - lots of fun and the kobolds rock!

Please consider extending the XP/loot/guild bonuses for 1 week beyond the Crystal Cove event. I'd love to work on leveling some toons, but the need to get those event items completely overshadowed everything else.

Also - please bring back Crystal Cove in the very near future. This was fun and I have a few suggestions to make it better:

    1. If we get all 300 crystals, either let us end the quest so we car start again (this would make for a great challenge to maximize what can be done)

    or

    2. Let us continue to collect as many crystals while there is still time.

While this was fun, my group was consistently finishing with 8-12 minutes left. That made for a lot of downtime and let's face it - you can only kill so many mobs before that gets boring. Help to inject more challenge by implementing one or both fo the suggestions above!

Thanks, and have a good one!

    Dear DDO Store:

I like the armor appearance kits... or at least the idea of them. I have several of my favorite toons sporting some of the kits, so please consider this a request from a customer...!

Please add the following options to the armor appearance kits:

    1. Be able to purchase an item to switch the base type for the armor appearance kit to be applied to. For example, my melee bard loves her Icy Raiments with Golden Crest 2 Dark Red/Pale Red, but now I want her to wear the Epic Duelist's Leather and the armor appearance kits for Leather Armor look horrible IMO. I would like to purchase an item to allow me to put the Outfit Golden Crest 2 onto the Leather Armor and have it look exactly like it does for an Outfit.

    2. Please allow us to purchase dyes that we can then change up the colors for the existing armor appearance kits. For example, my Sorc had 3 different Dragontouched Outfits and I like Golden Crest 2, but I would like to be able to make the colors Dark Blue/Pale Blue, Dark Green/Pale Green, Dark Purple/Pale Blue, etc.

I'm willing to spend DDO points (and buy them) to be able to do these two things.

    Thank you so much!

Happy 5th Anniversary DDO! What a wonderful thing to be saying about the game I have been playing nearly exclusively for 5 years. Never would have imagined it when I first started. In my 35 years of computer gaming (Zork on my Dad's work Mainframe) I have never played one game so long, nor so much

Have to give credit to the Dev's for all their hard work over the years. Also, to those who worked so hard on the F2P model. While I was sceptical at first, I truly believe it saved DDO from more server merges if not a slow death...

As far as the Event - it was fun, and even after 50 (and hoping more tonight!) runs I was still having fun in there. It was starting to blur together a bit, but I just needed a break from running it over and over and over - never thought I would be glad to have to go back to work. Ok, I am over all that now, and counting the hours until I can get out of here!

The Kobolds were definetely the best part. Their chatter and extensive vocabulary had us busting up all weekend! Great job to all who were involved!!!

Also, I loved the fact that the Kobolds would take my Sorcy's D-Door's! I REALLY hope this is leading to smarter monsters who currently just stop dead in their tracks when we flee through one. Instead of staring at the pretty glowy door, why not touch it and see where it goes? Also, IF you do this - PLEASE stealth patch it - PLEASE

I agree with others that extending the XP, Reknown, and Loot bonuses would be awesome - especially as this IS the 5 Year Anniversary of our favorite MMO

    Barumar
