It seems that almost all the toons that have a ESoS are Barbarians, am I missing something here? Always thought a Figher would end up doing slightly better dps with one.

i would guess barbarians would do the most dps, due to their incredibly high str. number crunching is not for me, but i'm sure you can find the figures somewhere on the forum.
Most Fighters are GTWF khopesh kensai, or Crit-spec heavy pickers - And thus their build is by and large set. Barbarians on the other hand can just swap a couple enhancements from greataxe or falchion to greatsword and bust out the eSoS.
THat's just my guess, anyways.
Just downloaded the dps calculator, obviously not an expert but I just started messing around with the barb, all auto attack:
18/2 Barbarian: 529 - Quickdraw
Pure Fighter: 517 - Quickdraw
18/2 Barbarian: 509 - w/o quickdraw
Hmm seems close enough to not be worth considering if you preffer one class which I do as I like the speed of the fighter, Fighter Kensai 3 feels a little wasted here though, technically Fighter Twitch wins but who cares as theres no way for me to do it right 95% of the time, as lag, graphic card lag(hexacore at 3.5 ghz and a gtx260 and still get a hiccup here and there, I do play with everything at maxed but it seems its from loading something) or human error.
Im guessing Fighter pulls ahead on autocrit mobs thanks to the 15% and twitching, and barbs ahead on bosses and monsters that can't be auto critted not to mention they will always be raged so will almost always be doing their highest dps until haste boosted.
Not looking forward to barbs asking why Fighter though =)
Synergia
paladins are possible best eSoS user since they have capstone pure good making all weapons aligned they can then put in silver in the hmm is it redslot? making it also a great devil beater with high DR
Yeah, I really want to do both since I feel like it would be a waste to not put the barb past life feat to use and I like the idea of the HUGE crit numbers on barb(I'm guessing this is why lol as some have their crit numbers in profile ) but can only gear one up.
As for the person talking about paladins, Red Augment of Devil Ruin has Silver Good dr.
My gf has an Elf fighter with Epic SoS, and I have a WF Barb with Epic SoS.
Her crits are around 300 without a bard I think, mine are that with a bard. If I forget Frenzies and am lazy, she can steal agro.
I think it's pretty even, Barb would win VS constructs though.
I believe last time someone ran the numbers esos came out ahead on a fighter than it did on any other class due to the fighter capstone.
If you've somehow managed to get an epic sos and still lack good gear then a non-twitching barb will do a bit more damage than a fighter. However, due to the fighter capstone and haste boosts, any additional damage per hit will benefit a fighter more than a barbarian, e.g. monk past lives, gloves of the claw, bard songs etc.
So if you have an epic sos it is likely you'll have gear like epic gloves of the claw, in which case a twitching fighter will do the most damage for you. This is shown by Aaxeyu's DPS chart (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=299620)
If you're fighting 100% fort enemies on the other hand, a barb will do more damage thanks to their higher strength and glancing blows damage. In either case the difference isn't huge though.
