Default Which is more important for a Spellsinger . . .

which is more important for a Spellsinger, +Perform or +Concentrate ?

at my lower levels I've been focusing on items that are + Concentrate, but I have a feeling later the + perform will come into play more then the + Concentrate, I'm sure both are important, just not sure which would have priority at the higher levels

    Thanks

Both are obviously very important and should always be maxed. As for leveling up purposes, I would say concentration is more important. It's better to have all of your spells uninterrupted than having fascinate not land.

By default max out conc, perform, and UMD. With all those skill points why wouldn't you?

reaason I asked is , my Bard is currently lvl 7, and I wanted to make a lvl 12 hat for him in the CC Event, was going to go either + Concentrate or + Preform, and Heavy Fort.
At least that's what I'm hoping I can get the ingredients needed to do that before the event ends

since before the event the current hat was + concentrate, that is what I did on the hat I got for the party, but to use it I can only go to Moderate Fort. just missing the Green Shards to complete to that point . Getting the Doubloons and gems is not a problem at my level , just the green shards may be in question

Do you have any other items planned out?

The best benefit I can see on the table comparing the 2 is a better proc rate on the mass DV from perform for your spellsinger so I am thinking perform. Higher fascinate DC's and better DV proc rate.

    Yes

If your asking specifically about items, I'd probably go for the perform bonus. I seem to find fewer of them and when I'm healing I generally avoid damage and thus avoid needing to make concentration checks.

You might take a look at high end raid/epic items to see if there's one you really want that has either of the skill bonuses. The bard cloak from VoD comes to mind
    Shamgar ~ Pjstechie ~ Melchizedek ~ Habakkuk ~ Josheb ~ Magoi ~ Kinnor ~ Eshek ~ Zakchaios ~ Jephthah ~ Bartimaios ~ Ehudh ~ Bezaleluri ~ Nebuchad ~ Lava Divers (Khyber) ~ Epic Education ~ Building Blocks ~ DDOCast ~ contact me

    Default spellsinger

You might take a look at the attack on stormreach pack as far as gear that you might get more distance out of.
These 4 pieces would also cover your perform, diplomacy, intimidate, true seeing, and devotion on top of the norm resistance, +6 cha, str, and wis.

perform you can swap in as needed. concentrate you want on all the time. imo, at least.

(that said, i'd try to upgrade to heavy fort and the highest + concentrate you can get personally...)

Swapping in my +perform item? Man, that would seriously throw my Fascinate timing. But I seem to love Fascinate far more than the average DDOer, so your mileage may vary.

Yeah that was my plan, but wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake.
Since I'm Max Cha, and that helps Perform, and my Con being only 14 (starting) , and Concentrate is from Con, I decided to add Concentrate instead of Perform.
I have the first hat done for level Image of Hat Stats the next upgrades to it takes it to lvl 9, and I'm only 7, so going to make a second hat to have That Heavy Fort.

I had looked at future items before but never really kept notes for which to keep an eye for

That cloak would work out great, only one problem, I don't own Storm reach
I'm a bit unprepared to decide what I would be most needed. Since some of the better items that one could get are from Paid Adventures. It was an Oversight on my part, I always figured I'd know a level or 3 before reaching there I would know what I want gear wise. I had never thought of planning named Gear and Build at the same time to 20, just the build.

I got some reading to do
Thanks for reminding me that stats are not to only thing to plan on the road to lvl 20

since time is limited, I'll stick with the Concentrate plan, and take it to level 12, for my lvl 12 hat, may just go to 9 too, and take a chance that the rumors of the event going to run in march too, if that happens I have time to readjust the stats. Hmm maybe the second to 9
or Option "C" make a second Hat same level as now but with Preform and test the difference ?? Bhah, probably not enough time, I'll stick to plan "A" and deal with the Pleasure or Pain for going that direction
