Stonedust Woes

Yeah, only the one set, but then again I haven't farmed for them like I did for the Handwraps. I have run Eyes about 25-27 times and only pulled like 6 pairs total (one I gave to my guildie). The last quest in the second chain is where the Garments drop and I've only run that about 5 times mabye 6. I have only once not been offered the Staff of Shadow as the chain reward, so I guess I was lucky there.

edit: Oh and I've found exactly 3 Marks, all are the purple one needed for the Vamperic Stonedust.

Ah that would do it, I suppose. Though I think I've only run the quest where the garments drop four times. We had one run where we had them drop in every chest for at least one of us.

I've been busy but thought I'd give an update. I finally got a group together on one of the runs to do elite for the favor and good XP and I finally got it after I think my 5th run through which happend to be with that group. Luckily I had the mark I needed to get my Vampiric stonedust wraps and I LOVE them. Now I am trying to farm the purple mark to upgrade the sight item in the set from the first 3 quests. I want that +6 wisdom and true seeing!

A funny note on it though, I ran through the chain again on casual for the end reward item hoping to get another mark, no mark but I DID get another Staff! You gotta love this game. I did over the weekend manage to go from level 14 to level 16 just from grinding that quest arc with the extra 25% XP due to the birthday even so it was by no means a wasted weekend, if a little boring at times and it caused some wife aggro.

I agree that the Garments of Equilibrium have a ridiculously high drop rate in comparrison to the marks and the stone dust handwraps. I looted a pair on my 2nd run, then 2 more pairs on a run with a friend, then on the run I ran with a PUG for the elite that I mentioned, everyone but me looted at least 1 pair a piece, some looted 3 pairs. Ah well, such is life.

I've run the quest chain multiple times. My gf and I both have the wraps, we've only ever seen 1 mark drop. I have gotten 2 staffs of shadows (plus she has at least 1) from the end chain reward. I talked with one person that had many marks but I have never had one drop, not in a chest, not as an end reward. It seems REALLY random. I ended up getting my mark with diamonds. I'm not afraid of the grind at all, but there comes a point when it's just not worth it for me anymore. I'm about to farm another set of wraps for my TR but already have the staff of shadow from my farming before.
