    Default wf redo?

I have a wf currently 1 ftr/1 rog/ 9 wiz. He was eventually going to end up a 1 ftr 2 rog 17 wiz. However i have seen a significant change in my play style over the time i have played him. he groups with a couple of guild mates, we r a very small guild, His rogue skills r almost never needed and as a fighter he makes a great target. This being the case i was considering LRing him into a pure wiz. Any comments or suggestions would be welcome

pure wizard for the win ..

    pros:
    - cap Enhancement (Wizard Master of Magic) +2 int (it means +1 DC)
    - more SP
    - more prepared spells
    - more spellpenetration.
    - 1 more bonus feat

    cons:
    - u cannot disable traps (and why do u need it? )
    - few less HP

imho casters should be casters, I don't like hybrids.

Depends a bit on your plan while levelling/at cap (eg. what archmage line? or pale master?) but either pure wizard for spellcasting power, or just 18wiz/2rogue with dex dumped & insightful reflexes if you still want trap skills (admittedly not often needed, but when they are they're really handy) & evasion for greatly boosted survivability.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

you missed evasion... and the main reason ppl multi. with insightful reflexes, evasion effectively makes wizards immune to most damaging magic...

Not sure what the ftr level is for... wizards arent really feat starved, i would advise an
18/2 wiz/rogue split if you want trapping/umd/evasion, pure wizard for more sp and DCs/ capstone

but if you do not want to LR, then 17/1/2 will be fine but not optimal, because you still get 9th level spells and evasion...
adversity is something we face every day - for a true test, give someone power

Pure Wizard, or Rog2/Wiz18 (with inciteful reflexes) would be my reccomendations.

    Default possibilities

I'm actually leaning toward going pure, possibly doing an enchantment AM, i havent had the evasion so far although it is a huge benefit of a 2 rog build.and by swapping the fighter lvl for rog could get it with current lvls. ok now im not as sure.

    Default choices, choices

Finally decided on pure redo....AM with the enchantment SLAs. So far its been great, testing it out the giants in GH look very funny dancing. Between the SLAs and arcane bolt its been great.
