My DDO Lottory

Yesterday, February 24th, I entered the 5 Yarrs Lotto and according to myddo I won on 3 different characters. When I log into each character, no new mail notice, and no new items in back pack. So was I suppose to have received something or is My DDO still broken? After all I have a character that I have leveled twice in the past 6 months, according to DDO does not exist.

Yes they are not the ones that have the non-updating issue. How do I know, because all of them have won lottos in the past week. I would not have posted this otherwise.

To update the situation, it appears that a 4th character just won the same lotto. That would now be 4 that the MyDDO lotto confirms as winners, with nothing actually won by the character. Characters in question are:
Bluph - yes he is updating
Idomeneus - yes he is updating
Munchikin - yes he is updating
Vindrasi - yes he is updating


Since winners apparently are still being chosen is it that the mails have not gone out yet? I always thought it was instantaneously done that you won you received mail.

My Myddo started working with Tolero's last fix, and ever since then the characters I dont log into still update sometimes. For Example, I havent played Otsegoundead since Jan 1st, but she last updated Feb 9th.

My guess is, you deleted and rerolled or TR'd these characters and the mail is being sent to the phantom box of the now deleted character. I think Tolero said something about that back when MyDDO went down in September.

Look AZ, they ALL have recent winnings SINCE Tolero's fix, and that is the point. Did you read the top of the email where it flat out states "February 24th Lotto - Five Yarrs Lottery winners with no mail in game. All are on Argonessen."

Staciey won just 2 days ago. Stop trying to offer guess, as you are not helping because your information is wrong. I have physically had the characters take out the winnings on the dates previously mentioned, and yes they ALL won yesterdays. No they were not deleted, no they were not rerolled. The 2 TRs have BOTH won since the fix and was able to get the item from the bank. Unless you are suddenly hired by Turbine as the expert on MyDDO, stop trying to help, because you are not.

It seems the lottery system on the ARGONESSEN server is broken again. According to the winnings list 3 of my toons won the FEB 24 2011 - 5 YARRS LOTTERY and neither of them recieved the prize. and it seem to be that particular lottery since i won the guild getter lottery from the same day and recieved my prize. the only thing i can think of is why bother with this anymore, no wonder the game went free to play. the devs keep pushing out new content while ignoring the problems.

as if that would do any good i never recieved my prizes when the lottery went down last october/november either.

At least you are able to enter the lotteries. For almost a month now, every time I hit the Enter Lottery button, all that comes up is either the IE unable to display page screen or just a plain gray box, no mater how many times I refresh my homepage. I check in 8-10 times a day to enter any lotteries, but have been unable to get it to work. This happens on 3 different computers, on several different networks. Also, when my home page comes up, all that shows is the banner across the top and the button to enter lotteries. No current entries, no winners, no character list, no quest log, NOTHING... so I have no idea whether or not my toons are updating. Last time I was able to check it still listed my Pally 18 on Ghallanda (Amerigorn) as 13th level. Others were also not updating.

Because of an agreement with my wife, I usually only play in the evening. The lotteries have been a way of keeping up with the game somewhat during the rest of the day. PLEASE see what can be done about fixing this problem!!!

I've also had Argo winners of the 5 Yarrs Lottery not get their winnings (but able to win other lotteries):

Also - it appears other chars on other servers won, but also received nothing for the lottery.

3 of my characters, all on Argo, won the 2/24/11 lottery.
None of them received it.

Umm... This has started again? I used to play the lottery daily. For the past couple months, I have not seen any characters eligible for any lotteries at all to the point I check about once every 10 days now.... please advise.

I had one winner out of 60 chars for the 2/08 lottery, and that one was a deleted char.

Just checked to see if I'd won anything from this Yarr's lotto, and have one winner listed. Will go see if she has any mail in a sec.

Orrabahk/Ghallanda -- Checked her mail earlier, but in the middle of 60 Egg runs, don't recall what the Yarr's lottery was for. Don't see anything weird in her backpack, tho.

ok all of my toons won the lottery on the 24th, either i am really lucky or the lottery system is going haywire again.
