And now my wife and I have been auto entered into two more Five Yarrs Lotteries and a Tasty Ham without any input from me. The Tasty Ham lotto has already drawn :roll:

The hams were delivered but I am skeptical of the Five Yarrs.

Same here logged on and found i ve been auto entered into the 5 yarrs lottery for the 7th and 8th didnt see anything about the hams though.

as to a previous pot i did win and recieve a wealthy wednesday lotto once and recieved my perfect siberys shard but won it again later and didnt recieve my prize, guess your only allowed one.

These were for the Greater Experience Elixir, 5 Astral Diamonds, and a few other of the items that had been up for winning.

Every character has won minimum of 50 hams since the 24th.

Some fundamental problems with the lotto are the following:
1. When you win, does not address which lotto entry it was (date).
2. The Winning Entries gets too clutter and does not stay in chronological order.

Suggested changes:
1. In the mail simply enter what date the lotto was entered.
2. After winnings are received (taken out of mail), should be removed from list.

it seems i won some low level gold seal hirelings on the 27th of feb, and recieved them today march 5th, this win didnt appear in the my winnings tab until today either, also its from something i didnt enter as well.

wow phantom lotteries? , ghosts in the system, or maybe lost kobolds from crystal cove doing the deliveries.

What they appear to be trying to do with the last one was test to see if the same named lottery was running on simultaneously on seperate timers. You are correct that this is not a true test, but it is not because of the virtual guarantee. It is not a true test because they are using the same rewards for all of them, which the lotteries in question were the same name, overlapping times, but distinctly different rewards. Therefore, for them to do a true test of the system they will have to do something like:

1. Test Lotto with tasty ham
2. Test Lotto with cure serious potions
3. Test Lotto with armor kit preview

These perameters would offer the same type of environment as the 5 Yarrs Lottery. I would be willing to bet had those lotteries been named different versions rewards would have been delievered.

good to know that something other than ham has been fully functional since the 24th. the winning entries is something I really wish they would change. Once a winning entry has been claimed it should remove itself from the winning entries. This would also help in trouble shooting because the winning entries for lotteries that were broken would remain (but they should put a timer for experation as we do not want to see a broken lottery for too long).

For testing/delivery purposes, yes.

That particular Five Yarrrs lottery appears to have had some problems. Unfortunately the folks who won that particular lottery had their prizes dropped into a Bag of Holding, and we've had difficulty reaching those prizes. While trying to get to the items, we unfortunately dropped that Bag of Holding into another Bag of Holding, which means you will never be able to receive those prizes. Sorry!

But look! One of my characters (and only one!) is entered in the Five Yarrrs lottery again:



What exactly is going on with this? I'm pretty certain that I did not make this lottery entry today (the Dryden ones, too).

Several Lotteries past week with no update nor new feedback.

I'm rather curious about the percentages on winning for these last few, specifically to know if there's an extra issue to be addressed or not. Out of 60+ chars, it is rather unusual for me not to see a winning char somewhere.

That's the only feedback I have at this point - entered several, and no joy.

Oh most definitely! I had to write a program to download the page, parse it and display it in a sorted grid. Way too much work to figure out if you won.

Maybe later I'll post it somewhere.
