A call for help

Dear People of Cannith,

First of all, I am sorry I posted it here rather than in Marketplace forums.

I am here to ask some help / guides / pointers on how to fix my dilemna. I am no vet, uber, l33t. I am just a casual player with no tremendous loot (or ingredients) and redonkulous plat at my dispossal.

So here is my problem:



Yup, my friend took toughness 5 times. My friend mistakenly chose Toughness, because I told her she needs it, and she thought she haven't trained it yet since it is still in the choices. Managed to fix one using the free feat token. She is a level 18 Pally now. She needs 1 Flawless Siberys Dragonshard for every feat change and 50kpp.


1. Reroll is really out of the question, since we are only casual players and I think she really worked so hard levelling up. Live with the gruelling epic runs and TR? Any other suggestions?

2. How much is the normal market price for this dragonshards (not AH price)? Is there anyone can give me a good deal on the siberys dragonshards. I have small plat to offer, so if you have extras, can you offer a deal?

3. I know this is begging and asking for donations is frowned upon, I am asking if any of you guys have extras that you think you don't need it, and too lazy selling it on AH, I hope you can send some for me. I know this might sound as a scam and I can't blame you for that, but I think getting rich out of selling dragonshards are not really my thing. Since it is hard to sell IMHO because not all toons have 5 toughness in them. Getting rich out of scamming people for dragonshards is not a definition of fun for casual players like me. There are also these multiple TR's that has capped Plat and just throws away dragonshards because they have already pre-planned everything, maybe you can help a noob out?

I hope you don't mind Cannith. Please post your thoughts, and if I am doing something wrong with this post, let me know so I can make amends.

I don't play on Cannith, but if your friend has to do more than 2 feat exchange (and at such a high level), I'd suggest your friend to lesser reincarnate. And if you're going pure, a lesser heart of wood (with no +) is suffiencient.

LR is more cost effective rather than exchanging all the feats, IMO.

Yup, she is going pure. She needs 3 feat exchanges.

1 for improved THF
1 for greater THF
1 for extend

Oh my, the dreaded real money purchase? Thanks for the suggestion and we will look into it. We are just premium players and bought some packs (using real money).

A lesser heart on the auction house is definitely under a million plat and perhaps as low as 500k plat (On Thelanis). While these numbers sound high, you can run shroud a couple times between you and sell the large ingredients you get to hit that figure.

Exceptional dragonshards are just ridiculous. Also, you can change out other things you didn't like, such as skill allocations and starting stats.

Also if you have the Inspired Quarter pack(s?) the loot there sells very well and invest in the highest haggle item you can find it will pay for itself very fast.

This is obviously IMHO but I dont see any reason why you would want those feats (extend is the only one I could make a case for, and even then really not necessary for a pali endgame). Honestly, as long as your friend has PA and Imp Crit covered they would be better off sticking with toughnesses.

I agree. Those feat swaps are not worth real money or the millions of plat equivalents.

Save your TP and plat and get some better adventure packs / gear respectively, you'll have better returns that way.

I'm going to chime in agreeing with Iraelis. She is going to lose a bit of add-on DPS from the glancing blows and not being able to extend the DFs and Zeals isn't optimal, but it's probably not worth the Flawless Shards to swap. Three flawless shards, if you can even find enough for sale, are going to cost you millions of plat and a Lesser Heart is going to be a bit cheaper but still expensive. And at this point, she might as well get to 20 and see how the build plays in Epics. Then she can decide if it's better to LR or TR or play with what she has.

There were none on the AH as of 1:31 p.m. est today when I checked. I'll keep a look out for one. Unless someone reading this thread wants to sell me one so I can mail it.
