How to inscribe spells from Scrolls

Hi guys,

I have a scroll that contains the spell Scroll of shocking grasp? It says I don't have the components to inscribe it.

Where do I find the components, I'm a lvl 1 wizard

There is a vendor in the center of the Marketplace that sells them.

Lvl 1 components are available in the Apothecary in the Harbor. Its the red disk on your map. They are also available from the arcane reagents vendor in the center of the Marketplace.

I think you can also find a lvl 1 seller in the Harbor, west of the Auctioneer / Bank / Mailbox (the Apothecary - thanx AZ!).

For the most part, you need the scroll and the inscription material for the spell level, and the reagents for that same spell level (both to memorize and to cast - genrally not a big deal though especially at low level).

Some spells need additional reagents... google DDO WIKI SCROLLS for a good breakdown.

Scrolls are also availble from vendors, but not all. Per the google search, be sure to check out those scrolls that are unavailable from vendors so that when you level up, you are granted the spells that are a tad harder to acquire, especially for a new castor

At level 1 he's in korthos and the vendor does not have the scribe paper for level 1 spells. When your out of korthos and the story line, the next place is the harbor. There you will find Apothecary like mentioned above.

Sad enough the starter area does not have level 1 to level scribe scroll paper. ddowiki can be very helpful in this area and with your character. Reading the wizard ddo forum helps also.

Save those scrolls if possible and when the korthos story line is over and your shown to the harbor you will find all of your needs there. For now if possible use "masters touch" and swing a weapon with using the spells as secondary help.

@ lvl 1 in Korthos NO
Korthos is 1-3 lvl range and does not vendor accordingly
We (experienced players) tend to forget a person snowy-side Korthos can topic here in forums

No, though sometimes you get them as loot.
