Change current class?

I misread and thought lesser reincarnation can change an existing class to something else.

I want to change my current sorc into a wiz before doing a true reincarnation. Whats the proper way to do it?

Lesser Heart(s) + X are the way to do it. You can swap out up to X levels at a time (so a +3 heart lets you change out 3 levels). Right now if you're a level 20 sorc it'll take 4 Lesser +3 hearts of wood, plus the waiting time between using each heart.

You only need 11 levels in a class to get the past life feat. So 483=12 12wiz/8 sorc = wiz past life feat. You need atmost 10 levels of wizard as it comes before sorc alphabetically.

I'm assuming he wants Wizard for the past life feat, in which case he only needs to make Wizard his dominant class. Since Sorcerer and Wizard were in the game from the start, level ties count you in alphabetical order: that is, a 10 Sorcerer/10 Wizard will count as a Sorcerer for past life purposes.

Obviously if he wants to make a 20 Sorc into a 20 Wiz then he'll need more hearts.
