    Default Buff button

My idea for a store bought item is a "buff button"

Buff buttons come in 5, 10, and 15 slot varieties.

A buff button can only be configured once, so choose wisely!

To configure a Button, simply drag the desired buff spell into an open buff slot and select whether that spell should be extended or not.

Once configured, the buff button could be activated within "hireling" distance of a zone entrance. Activating the buff button causes each buff to be sequentially applied. Any buff that is not currently castable is skipped (e.g. Not a memmed spell, no longer have extend, out of mana, etc.). Mana costs are determined based on the character state when the button is activated.

In addition, the store sells minor, normal and greater buff button solvent that can be used to reconfigure a buff button.

I would buy this in a heartbeat!

I can think of only 1 thing to add to the store:

A potion that would boost the drop rate of named and rare loot drops (epic scrolls included). It would work something along the same lines as the xp pots and loot bonus pots.

    Lightbulb Event Item Ingredients

    e.g.,

    Mabar, Ice Festival, etc.

Yes, there is a specified time period for which these take place. However, Real Life comes first - for me anyway. I'm not saying that we should bypass the Event for the benefit of just buying from the Store.

Rather, once the Event is *over* - allow us a day or two to pick up an extra ingredient or so from the Store. Ice Festival requires the Altar - Mabar the craft guy. So it's still not the ability to craft, rather a chance to lessen a bit of the grind on the next scheduled.

    1. Shroud Shards of Power

    2. Ability to change warforged color after creation

    3. Ability to change player skin color after creation, I really want the ice blue skin the Icy pot gives.

    4. Epic Scrolls. Not the other epic item parts just the scrolls that randomely drop in epics and make them Bound to character or account when bought. Its currently very frustrating spending months farming desert epics and getting scrolls you can't use when you only need 1 scroll to complete the epic item.

    5. Greensteel cleansing stone. For those of us tired of running 20 shrouds everytime we make a new GS Item.

    I would like to see:

A preview hairdye kit (exclusive and normal hair dye) for 1 TP

as well as preview hairstyle kit for 1 TP

I think the option of getting a preview armor kit for 1 TP is excellent and I would like to see this option for the hairdyes/styles. My suggestion is (in relation with the 3 locations where you can apply the armor preview): include a "hairdresser room/house" eg. in House P where the hairdye/style can be applied and the effect wears off as soon as the toon leaves the hairdresser location. Mainly the exclusive hair dyes (195 TP) are way too expensive to just try it out and I guess more people will buy a hairdye if they can view how the character will look like after applying hairdye/style xy.

    1) Buy Name. (Able to take already used character's name in which the said character or account is already 3 - 5 years not active. And if you planning to not active for 3 - 5 years, then you can buy the name so one can ever use it.)

    2) Buy Personal Realm/Dimension. (Maybe like Portable Hole but smaller and more personal; like you own house..wait, a good idea too!).

    3) Buy House. (nice!)

    4) Buy Notebook. (aka a really personal bio. You can take note/write anything and no matter which character you log into, you can see the note/use the note, without other people click and see what you type to remind yourself of something.)

    5) Buy Personal Pen and Paper Scenario Battleground. (you can simulate pen and paper game using DDO characters and monsters...much like Battlegrounds, only it's DDO!)

    1. I would really, really like to see a way to re-design your character's appearance without needing to reincarnate. Mostly skin-tone, eye colour, and some of the original hairstyles and colours. This would still be considered 'in game' I think since it's basically part of the character creation. Possibly like a lesser reincarnation.. but without changing class/stats etc, just appearance.

    2. More of an add on to the above thought, even things much like the hair dye, but eye droppers for eye tone, um.. tanning creams (?) for skin tone, and the original hairstyles offered (but probably cheaper then the special hairstyles in the store).

    (just elaborating on 1 and 2 )
Too often I create a character, then have to delete them and keep going back into the creation room just because the lighting in that room is different then in the game!! You can't really get a good judgment on what your characters colours will look like (especially skin tone. Too often my 'slate grey' drow winds up purple, and that irks me.)

In fact, extra colours for different races would be great!! Such as some nice, more realistic skin tones (the darker human skin tones are too ashy), and maybe some drow who are darker then a light grey. O.o

I don't know if these are just gameplay, or can be done with the store, but I'm hopeful. ^_^

    3. Clothing/armor seen around the game as costume kits. I'm such a girl, seriously, and I squeeed with joy from the armor kits... and there are tons of already existing costumes in the game that would be fun and enjoyable as armor kits. (ie. I love the furry dress/boots on the female Barbarian trainer in the harbour. ) It's been mentioned in previous threads, but some way to get armor, or armor kits of designs that already exist in the game... a way to change your existing armor to a look/colour that you would prefer more. Which brings me to the next suggestion...

    4. Armor colour kits. I think that this would be 'in game' because armor can have varying colours already. But some way to dye/colour your armor the way that you want, instead of something random. Sometimes you just find that perfect looking armor but it's the wrong colour, and you just can't watch your character run around in it. That would be wonderful. ^_^

Here is the list of the top 5 items I'd like to see added to the DDO store.

    1) Premimum Services (Server Transfer, Name Change, etc...) and please please allow the name change to change the last name as well.
    2) +3 & +4 Tomes
    3) Ability to temporarily change (one time per purchase) an item from BtC, to BtA that then BtC on Equip
    4) Basically any item that sells for more than 100k pp on the auction house. The AH pricing is way out of skew and a big turn off to the newer players
    5) Epic Seals and Shards. You still need to run epic to get the Epic tokens.

    Default DDO store guild stuff

I would like to see a feature that allows you to know how much guild members contribute to the renown of your guild. It should already be a viewable stat when you look at any character in game play right up there where the adventurer/champion/hero/legend status appears. After all renown is not invisible. If you earned it, people should know about it, otherwise you really aren't renowned at all.

Might as well just go crazy with it:

    /sarcasm on

    1. Past Life Feats
    2. Epic Items/Scrolls/Shards/Seals
    3. Level-Ups
    4. Raid Counter Bypassing Mechanism
    5. +20 Hearts of Wood

    /sarcasm off

For real though I would like to see:

More 50% off on the Ture Hearts of Wood and make them a random drop like the other hearts of wood

+5 Hearts available a bit more often

I suppose I could get on board with some +3 tomes if they cost like 2500 points each, but no +4s!

    Default Unbind potion

Something that allows you to unbind an item that you have used the Alter outside the Bank in the Marketplace to Bind to Character. You loose any of the extra stuff that you have put on there (the extra 1d4 damage, or alchemical armour rituals), but you can then at least pass it around your own characters. Note that I am not suggesting this be used to get around BtC loot, just something that allows you to undo the personal binding of items you may have done.

    I'd like to see/buy:

Cosmetic hats with a power of my choosing instead of powers being linked to designs.
(i.e. buy a green party hat with bunny hat powers)

And linked to that - brown (or any other colour) paper bags with eye cut outs and powers
from the hat pool ... for half elves

    1. Nothing Epic or otherwise quest loot-related at all. I don't want to discourage grouping, whether private or public.

    2. The ability to change your character's name.

    3. The ability to move your character to a new server.

    Gnomes
    Druids...

    Oh wait. nvm.

    Seriously:

    sex change
    last name change
I'd buy an "open elite" boost if it were a timed thing, and not for a single quest.
    Hairstyle change (not just dye)

I'm seriously opposed to the idea of buying 34 or 36 point build options. That takes away a significant advantage of being a TR if people can just buy their way into that many build points.

These are the things i´d pay for and with which i have no in-game balancing problem:

    • First name change - (pure fluff)
    • Last name Change - (pure fluff)
    • +5 Lesser/Greater Hearts of Wood - - (for some deeper level changes without having the char in a cripple-gimped state for so long)
    • Greensteel deconstruction - (crafting mistakes are completly unfun , especially when millions of plat/month of farming are down the drain for 1 sec of unattention if you mess up at tier 3)
Erzskalde (Warchanter) / Erzassassin (just passing through - ignore me) / Erzsoldat (waiting for TR-time) / Erzschmied (ranged Artificer)

    Question!

What items/features currently in the game would you like to see added to the Store (aside from the ability for VIPs to buy quest packs)? Please list no more than 5!
    1. Large Shroud materials. Reason: You've already got the power cells for all three tiers (and you got the small shroud ingredients on there when they're the easiest to get a hold of), and large devil scales are practically impossible to get a hold of. Prior to true reincarnating into my current build, I had 13-14+ consecutive runs of Shroud without large devil scales appearing once in my loot.

2a. Enhanced armor kits. Regular armor kits are already in the store, but why not enable us to take armor kits a step further by allowing us to choose the appearance as well as colors of said armor kits. The way this would work is, a player would pay a fee, and then, through a series of drop-down tabs not unlike the one used for Character creation system, choose how they'd like their armor to look. This option would be ideal for those who want a different look, but aren't satisfied with the armor kits that are currently available.

3 [or 2b (in case 2a is an "invalid" suggestion)]. Putting the light gravity/flight status effect in the form of a potion or wand.

    4. *edited* We actually need to be able to buy World Character Transfers from the DDO store. There is no reason that we have to do this out-of-game on a website when the transfer could be done in-game. The way it currently is, doing a character transfer is a bit of an inconvenience.

    5. Armor dyes: Take the current system for dying one's hair, and allow it to be used on suits of armor.
Last edited by Ziindarax; 02-25-2011 at 12:49 PM. Reason: I redeact and rescind my original suggestion about skill tomes.

i would like to be able to buy (for my entire account) a feature that lets me unlock hard/elite difficulty, without being vip. kinda like vet status lets all new characters start at 4, would be nice if i could buy a one time package to unlock all difficultys. the unlock coins are a joke but i would definitely pay for an account wide permanent hard/elite unlock.

While I have no issue with any of your other suggestions, this one is pretty terrible from the game balance point of view. Skills are tied to both stats and class. Often times people splash one or two levels of certain class so they can hit certain number on any given skill. People engineer builds squeezing every single stat point to reach certain skill level. So what you are basically asking for is the easy-plus button that you don't need to tinker with your build. Additionally, imagine a +10 skill tome to UMD (which, arguably is the most sought after skill in the game and what makes splashing 1 Bard or 1 Rog attractive). It would kill the game. If right now people (including myself) are complaining left and right that the game has been dumbed down into oblivion, adding skill tomes would simply be the last straw before moving on to do different things, IMVHO.
