Unless your a STR rogue, no weapon finesse for you either. And I still don't understand the fascination with high base damage weapons on rogues? Why? Your dps is coming from backstab, crit damage, or weapon effects. Whats a couple higher base damage points going to do for a build that is not good on STR to begin with?
Go with a weapon with a big crit range of crit modifier, but the base wont help you much unless you are all STR and if you are, no reason to play a rogue to begin with. Your reflex will be shot. Don't understand why people try to take a class and turn it into something else.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

That is incorrect. A Str rogue will get a very high reflex save by default. He needs 17 base Dex for GTWF, which is quite a high value (unless you are talking about a rogue using two-handed weapons).
So Str rogues must have a high Dex or end up without GTWF. Unfortunately there's nothing forcing Dex rogues to get as high a Str as well - unless the player has a clue. Their watermark is 13 Str for Power Attack, providing they don't reason like you do - "Sneak Attack is all you need".

Going to grab at least one for my Rogue, although unsure if I'd dual-wield them. Guess it depends on whether the T3 versions will come with an augmentable slot and/or the double-strike bonuses stack. If so, that could be quite nice (and super easy to obtain).
The duelist's leathers might be worthwhile too. Free +1 to hit with piercing weapons, and +4 dodge AC. Not bad.
Spot on.
Radiance rapier/scimitar + offhander (your choice, I'm probably going maiming rocksplitter for the destruction (helps my to-hit) and high crits, but a smallblade could be nice here too).
And for auto-crit scenerios, twin heavy picks are *easy* to obtain. Buy 2 rocksplitters. Buy/obtain 10 astral diamonds. Craft twin maiming rocksplitters. Done deal.
Back to the original topic, however, on a pure Rogue it becomes more a matter of lack of feats than anything else, at least for me.
TWF, ITWF, GTWF, Toughness, Imp. Crit, PA = 6 of 7 feats. That leaves room for one more, which I'll most likely go with OTWF to reduce the dual heavy weapon penalty. Str-based or not, we're not a full BAB class and, as mentioned already, I'd rather make sure I hit on every swing than risk missing on the occasional swing.
Plus I went half-elf with fighter dile, so you have to factor that in too. I get free proficiency with all melee martial weapons, which I use frequently (i.e. picks). And if I have TRed, I'd probably pick up sneak of shadows over khopesh as well.
So to each their own.
Yes, khopesh is definitely an awesome melee weapon. But as has already been shown, the benefits of having it are less for a Rogue than, say, a Fighter or Ranger.

Yeah this one is quite famous, on a side note if some here have witnessed the first real attempts on the avatar of war... i mean the first real wipes with 80+ players in zone... (for the first kill on cazic-thule server we were about 120 in zone iirc) gosh the **** thing must have dinged like 3 times in the same fight![]()
