Default Just bought VIP, and now it freezes. :(

Well I just did a system restore as well. But everytime I log into ddo, it will start lagging VERY bad around 5 minutes into it. The first 5 minutes however, runs smoothly and all is well. After the lag spike, it will just go not-responding until it closes out of itself. It does this everytime. I was wondering if maybe my firewall or anti-virus is doing it, and what I have to find to unblock it. I HIGHLY doubt its my internet, because it was running fine for the last month.

Any help would be great! This just sucks, because I JUST BOUGHT vip for 3 months.

Please check if you have 'Pando media booster' installed - this sounds like your bandwith is being consumed.

Firewall or AV would typically prevent traffic from the start rather than after 5 minutes.

I'd assume it is a background application you have that is using up your internet traffic.

    Are you playing wirelessly?

    Is this a shared connection?

If you enter Options>UI settings>'show Network status display' it will give you the real-time ping and loss stats in a tooltip that appears when you hover over the icon.

When you next get this issue I would ALT+TAB to windows, bring up the command prompt
    (start>run>cmd)
    and type:
    tracert gls.ddo.com
    to see the response times.

Please also post a dxdiag to check it isn't your system.
