G'day all, Coit here .


I've been reading the 'gimp wizards' thread, and have come to the conclusion that the time approacheth where my 2nd life wizard will soon TR into a sorc.

Indirectly from what i've read there i think he's almost ready, and it's where he's kind of heading (see Shade's post in the aforementioned thread).


He will have 2 x wizard past lives (as soon as i get off my bard binge and cap his coit again ).


He has a +3 charisma tome, and a tod ring with +1 exceptional charisma on it (sibery's str+6 except char+1) (also the sanura's and rahkirs both upgraded with +2 int, but not really applicable for this life i think), along with the trophies to craft whatever (i'm assuming +2 exceptional charisma would be the duh.. choice here).

He's torced, with the glacial set (gloves and bracer), along with con opp goggles (10hp, 50sp, 100sp, exceptional char skills+5), and has all of the savant belts (along with three different con6+gfl and rahkirs/pale master belts), and a dreamspitter along with an upgraded death's touch and a greenblade, has the pouch of jerky for gfl in case a belt combo without it is needed, and a 3rd tier cold absorb dagger for his kiting runs.

Gear is not the issue (though i will take suggestions on anything he may need to make it worth the switch and bother of levelling at 36 point).


Build and final outcome is what i'm wondering about.


I'm thinking human, (doing up another set of DT in robes is not a problem, and i'll grind till i hit my resist+5 tier1, and greater spell pen 8 tier 3, no worries - tier 2 i'm thinking healing amp for his umd'd heal scrolls).

I"m not going to get into the whole sorc vs wiz thing, my reasons for going from 2 lives of wiz to sorc are more on feel and a desire to 'walk the path less trodden' then anything.

I'm looking for suggestions, start stats, feat selection, spell selection, potential endgame dc's, epic viability, etc.


Don't get me wrong, i'm not the uber lazy, i will be researching myself as well, but, there's a lot of experience and talent here on the forums, and i have no problem in catching some of that if it's offered.

I'm talking long term (i research a lot before going 36 point, it saves a lot of grief), and i expect him to be built in a few months (this bard binge, one double and one triple tr, i gotta get back on my caster~! :P).

So, post away all, nukers, cc'ers, epic junkies, and the 1000 monkies, hit me baby, i'm in planning stage and ready to read anything before i make my move.

I'm happy to share my human sorcs gear and build layout if you so desire, he currently sits at dc41 enchantment, 500+ buffed hp and all the concentration, umd, heal amp for reliable self healing.
