What does being Orange actually do?

I know that having a Red name makes you immune to instant kill effects, caps your stat damage at 10 for each stat and makes you immune to autocrit from stat damage (although you can still go into autocrit from stat penalties).

I know that having a Purple name gives you all the same benefits that a Red name gives you and also makes you immune to stat damage.

What does having an Orange name actually do for you? You can still be Vorpalled, Fingered, etc. Orange named critters usually have more HP than generic trash, but that is just because they have more HP, it isn't an actual benefit from the Orange name itself.

Anyone know what having an Orange name actually does for a miniboss?

Basicly what this person said, only immunity I've noticed is from any song based CC.

Nope they easily stunned, tripped, etc, as any mob, maybe slightly higher saves, but there's really not much difference besides normal yellow names.

I just see them as 'slightly tougher' trash and SOME trash has name!

Pretty sure (not positive) that I've charmed orange named mobs.

As far as I know, the only thing that distinguishes orange named monsters from everything else is higher stats (saves, attack, damage, HP, etc...). I think it's just a sort of warning to players that THIS GUY IS TOUGHER.

Air ellies can flop them over like hot cakes, but if you want to insta kill anything higher than Amrath orange rare you need energy drain to overcome the saves.

They also tend to give dollops of Guild Renown while normal grunts rarely do so.
