    Default Which FVS built would be better for my Cleric to TR into?

    I currently have a 17 cleric/2 monk/1 fighter twf finesse not so great in raids I cant even melee harry. So I wanted to TR into a fvs for more melee power but I'm still looking at my options:

    PLEASE NOTE: character creator doesn't have an option for the undying court set of feats so I chose the sov host one just to see how the built would look in reality I will be taking undying court in both builts.

    The first built is an elf fvs with twf and good offensive casting:

    The second built is a little more complicated it will be a half elf with twf, offensive casting, and sneak attack, because the holy aura spell blinds every enemy in range and has no save or sr sneak attacking with this guy will be quite easy.

    The equipment character creator didn't let me load: 2 Min 2 Scimitars, DT vestments with FF, 20% healing amp, Radiance Guard, A pair of 45 HP GS goggles with blur, A pair of +150 SP Con Op bracers.

    Holy Aura does have Spell Resistance, afaik.
    Half-elf with scimitars or handwraps and monk splash is indeed the highest DPS FvS build. Also look at the Soul Survivor.

    All up though, Past Life: Cleric is a terrible past life feat for a Favoured Soul. In fact, only a paladin and cleric benefit from most of the PL benefits (Turn Undead) while a wizard or sorcerer enjoy the boost to conjuration DC (for web).

    Have you considered any of these classes?

    I've considered them but I don't wanna create another char when I have an almost fully equiped lvl 20 ready to go. Oh and holy aura has no SR I know because in shav I can never get past the monster's SR to use destruction or command but casting holy aura works every time.

    So, just curious - why can't you melee Harry?

    There may be a real solution to the real problem that isn't the direction you're headed.

    I cant melee harry because I'm highly dependant on stat drainers and u cant stat drain him I have:
    20 STR
    28 DEX
    404 HP
    1432 SP
    No heighten spell
    and 32 wisdom when not in water stance

    I just can't produce enough dps to be viable against him.

    You're still doing more dps than your average piking healer? What's heighten got to do with your DPS vs Harry?

    With the amount of buffs that get thrown around in an average Shroud run, I'd be surprised if you couldn't hit Harry on a 2 with 8 STR.

    Also, I have read numerous times about the value of having spell penetration items for use with holy aura.

    However, I have never noticed if it's effective when playing with my capped FvS.

    Ok u were right that holy aura does have SR but you never actually have to make roll for SR because:
    (Combat): you help Fiendish Troglodyte Hunter with Holy Aura.

    And as far as meleeing harry I can easily hit him I have a great to-hit but I do lousy damage even with bard buffs.

    I can easily main tank Harry, Sulo, or even Horoth (with support).

    I often main tank VoD with this guy with no problems holding aggro, I have soloed VoD with this guy (was very tough, and took more than one attempt to figure out the best way), but you can do it.

    I have tried many variations of FvS melee builds and always come back to this build. It simply survives better than any other build I have tried.
