Default Another 'do they stack?' question

Hi, any idea if this combination gives me 24% chance for critical hit (fire/ice)?

    Fire/Ice enhancements - 9%
Regalia of Phoenix - 9% (when using polar ray i use major ice lore item)
    Greater Elder’s Knowledge (epic set) - 6%

Also, is multiplier stacking as well?

    Thanks

    Default Kind of...

The enhancement will stack with a item...

    but the highest will apply.

So will wearing the Regalia of Phoenix your fire spells will have a 18% chance to crit

All other spells will take the Greater Elder’s Knowledge bouns for a 15% chance to crit

So only way to go beyond 18% chance when casting FW is to get superior fire lore item? (epic red dragonscale robe)

One more thing, this is what I found in LeLoric's guide to epic items http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=289273

He says: 'The set bonus is nice when used in conjunction with Greater arcane lore essentially giving Major arcane lore to all elements'

As far as i know Greater Arcane lore comes from items, so how Elder's Knowledge bonus can stack with arcane lore?
    Did he make mistake?

Lore gives two different bonuses. The first part increases the chance that a spell will crit. The second part increases the crit multiplier. The highest bonus from each lore applies. So Greater Arcane Lore gives 9% increased chance to crit, and the set you mentioned gives a 0.5 bonus to the spell crit multiplier. 9% and 0.5 are essentially Major arcane lore.

    Another question ;-)

So Archmage set from TOD or Fire Savant will not stack with Regalia's crit chance and multiplier?

    This sucks :-/

That's what everyone is suggesting. I saw a thread a few weeks back asking about this, but no one had all the items on the same character to test this. I lost track of the thread so I'm not sure if they verified this or not.

Feats stack with enhancements stack with items.

Multiple items do not stack with each other, only the highest bonus applies.
