Those two threads have nothing to do with drama -- the OP is hoping someone will offer to conduct training runs of quests and raids, as has happened on other servers. I've often wished the same thing.
Most of the time on Cannith, LFMs for ADQ, Ascension Chamber, Hound, ToD, or even VON5/6 say "know the quest" or something to that effect. This is very intimidating to those who haven't run them yet, but who aren't part of a large guild.
I agree with arjiwan -- it would be wonderful if someone stepped in to offer these kind of training runs on a regular basis. Or even if people occasionally put up LFMs for rarely-pugged quests/raids that said "Teaching run, new players welcome" or something to that effect.
This is being done, though not formally. Please see the guided tour.

It's my favorite Stewardess seriously if you need to learn a quest and you see one of Zeals Tours up join it. Even Knowing the quest it's just nice to Have someone Laying out everything as we do it, and her tone helps to make everyone comfortable even when things are going poorly.
I think it's funny that the other servers are just coming up with this "plan" when we've had it going all along.
Not just the "guided tour" (though it's the best of the bunch) for me it's pretty much any time any quest.
there are many lowbie quests that I've never done before and lately I've started doing epics. In otherwords my first attempt at a quest is on epic difficulty. I'm upfront about being new to the quest and so far I've never been denied into a group and in fact the leader will teach me the quest as we go.
While on other servers they might have this problem of people hoarding information and not sharing the quest mechanics so newbies will learn, I haven't come across this problem on our server.
*Veteran of 6 or more guided tours
As people have said, theres alot of folkes on cannith that will guide you around.
If anyone wants to, send me a PM on here and I'll help you through any quest I can. We arrange a time, Ill make sure either I or someone I know to be helpful enough are of the right level and we'll sort it.
Canniths quite a nice place, as long as the LFM doesnt say TR zerg or something similar people are generally willing to help.
I agree, I enjoy the Cannith server (haven't tried others servers but I am not comparing). Yes there are helpful guys/gals that will run you through the quest etc.
Maybe what I'm looking for is maybe advertise or sensationalize it for the other forum lurkers who are interested in joining.
Maybe a formal schedule perhaps? or whatever, just to help our newbies brethren.
I have to say "the guided tours" are the way to go if you're unfamiliar with the raid. I've seen Nissha even doing them for Epic raids... I think many groups will explain the raids for you, assuming you don't join one of the "know it" raids. And personally there's nothing wrong with the "know it" raids, sometimes you just want to coast on auto pilot and get in an out as quick as possible.
The guild I'm in (PK) is generally very good about the raid leader talking through the raids as we go, but most of the time we fill with guild and not too many public spots available :/

Post is entirely unnecessary, this happens often enough on Cannith, even if it is not enough for you.
You do need to have a decent rep and do some networking to get in the right groups sometimes.
Most of my PUG runs on NORMAL will only have the "HaveVoice SpeakEnglish" tag in the description. I can't teach you if you don't understand me, and I am not typing it all out.
However doing quests/raids on higher difficulties is not the time to learn a quest. Also sometimes people are just in the TR grind, which is maddening enough, and you do not need inexperienced players costing you 10% exp for dying needlessly.
I just did a VoN 5 elite and let in a few n00bs on the condition they listen to instructions and don't run ahead of the party. Guess how that turned out? Best quote of the raid "But I had a plan..." that or the usual "but the beholder can't see me from here". okokok, rant off.
Earnest people willing to listen and learn, who at least know the basic mechanics of playing their char, will quite often get invited, and reinvited to such groups.
Two points of thought that should be self evident:
1. Did you google or ddowiki the quest before jumping in a group? At least do some homework.
2. How many groups have you tutored after learning them?
Ok, I just used the backspace key about 1000 times, shutting up now.

First, commenting on your posts:
1. Even if you google or ddowiki or even watch videos, the real thing is still different.
2. If people are willing to learn a quest, I am gladly to guide them all through out. Doesn't matter if it will take twice or thrice the amount of time.
I have no problem with Pugging. There are a lot of nice peeps there who are teaching new comers on Raids also.
My point of this post is, there are a lot of newbies (high or low levels) that are willing to learn.
Newbie saw a LFM for a quest. Newbie joined. He/she said I am new to this quest, leader say just follow and don't run around. The newb followed all the way while the leader or vet of that quests do everything. Finished with flawless 10% xp, yay! Thanks for the group guys, group disbanded. Newb didn't even know what happened.
Gianthold Tor, 3 dragons quest, I grouped with a level 18 toon who is a good player, he said, I've done this quite number of times, but everybody is running around and pulling levers and everything, I still don't know what is happening. Then I explained to him, this, that, this, and he learned.
Me and my friend joined Reaver's Fate Raid. I am so excited, first (non-tempest spine) Raid for us. I even DDO-wiki and read in the forums and doing my "homework". I told the leader of the raid before hitting LFM, I am new but willing to listen. Leader accepted both of us and told me, stay there. That's what I did. That's about it. We finished the raid, got the loot, and FO'ed. That's it!
It is not always about completing / xp / loot, sometimes it is about learning what happened in that quest.
And please, my good sir (or madame), if this post is unnecessary for you, don't assume it is unnecessary for everyone. I'm just trying to help.
That's pretty much the whole raid for everyone. You have one person kite around the Stormreaver while he lights the ceiling skulls, one person flips the switch, one person does the puzzle. You don't even want extra people for kiting or puzzling, they'd just get in the way and mess things up. So everyone stands around at the entrance killing air eles, then stands around by the puzzle killing air eles, then loots the chest.
edit: one tip if you want to explore, don't FO right away. Take your time to run around, try the reaver puzzle now that its safe to mess with, check the side passage in a quest that people skipped.
if theres someone in my group that simply tells me that they want to know how something works i wont hesitate to answer, unless they cant hear voice and want something complicated explained... im a bit lazy when it comes to typing...
if im hosting a complicated event like abbot for example i always assume that there are new people in the group which means ill go through what needs to be done every time i run it.
i wont mind answering any questions anyone might have about classes/builds/loot/quests so if you have any questions feel free to send a tell to nepO/zaelis/fudgecake/sofisticated/nomead/calace. nepO and zaelis are my mains so you are most likely to find those online
ill have to say that i dont have all the time in the world to play and when im online i might be busy with other things, no harm in asking though.
