Those two threads have nothing to do with drama -- the OP is hoping someone will offer to conduct training runs of quests and raids, as has happened on other servers. I've often wished the same thing.
Most of the time on Cannith, LFMs for ADQ, Ascension Chamber, Hound, ToD, or even VON5/6 say "know the quest" or something to that effect. This is very intimidating to those who haven't run them yet, but who aren't part of a large guild.
I agree with arjiwan -- it would be wonderful if someone stepped in to offer these kind of training runs on a regular basis. Or even if people occasionally put up LFMs for rarely-pugged quests/raids that said "Teaching run, new players welcome" or something to that effect.
This is being done, though not formally. Please see the guided tour.![]()

It's my favorite Stewardess seriously if you need to learn a quest and you see one of Zeals Tours up join it. Even Knowing the quest it's just nice to Have someone Laying out everything as we do it, and her tone helps to make everyone comfortable even when things are going poorly.
I think it's funny that the other servers are just coming up with this "plan" when we've had it going all along.
Not just the "guided tour" (though it's the best of the bunch) for me it's pretty much any time any quest.
there are many lowbie quests that I've never done before and lately I've started doing epics. In otherwords my first attempt at a quest is on epic difficulty. I'm upfront about being new to the quest and so far I've never been denied into a group and in fact the leader will teach me the quest as we go.
While on other servers they might have this problem of people hoarding information and not sharing the quest mechanics so newbies will learn, I haven't come across this problem on our server.

I have to say "the guided tours" are the way to go if you're unfamiliar with the raid. I've seen Nissha even doing them for Epic raids... I think many groups will explain the raids for you, assuming you don't join one of the "know it" raids. And personally there's nothing wrong with the "know it" raids, sometimes you just want to coast on auto pilot and get in an out as quick as possible.
The guild I'm in (PK) is generally very good about the raid leader talking through the raids as we go, but most of the time we fill with guild and not too many public spots available :/
