I'd love to come but that's too late on a weeknight for me. I'd be interested in a weekend run or a run starting earlier in the evening. Thanks for doing these teaching runs!

For Titan, everyone needs:
1} an underwater action item or a handful of water breathing potions
2} a ranged weapon of some sort if primarily a melee.
3} preferably some ability to heal yourself, whether it be a stack of pots, scrolls, or whatever.
I was being lazy and didn't feel like reading the thread to find everyone that had previously stated interest, so if you're interested sign up here and give me your toon's name and class [so I can determine who I need to bring].

[QUOTE=Calebro;3594761]Are you tired of following along as other people do all the work while you learn nothing?
Is there some quest or raid that you want to learn how to do properly, but have never had the chance?
Examples: VoN5, Tempest Spine, Twilight Forge, newbies to Shroud, random confusing quest #7
If so, speak up. QUOTE]
So just wondering...
Can we do quests i know and i pretend to be newbtastic... just so i can follow you around and listen to you talk for hours![]()

I just got my 20th on Reaver's, and while I can do the puzzle without a solver, I have died every time I try to get the switch. Where the heck is it? I go up, look around the spikes... look some more... keep looking... and die.
Also, I've only done shroud a few times, but would there ever be a chance that I could get a more than 3x3 puzzle?
Finally, I would love to learn the actual puzzles themselves, like how they work. The shroud puzzle, the one in the Soami gardens quest (forgot name..., where one person kites and another solves...) etc. I don't understand them, and use puzzle solvers. What am I actually doing? Oh, and the puzzle in Siege Breaker. I know it's a star if you get it right away, but if someone messes it up, what is the puzzle?
HOWTO: Solve the vale puzzle yourself
That's the best explained guide that I've seen.
There are obviously different techniques that can be used, but I like that one.
Another technique is to solve down, as described in that guide. If it isn't solved, turn around changing the *top* to become the *bottom* and solve down again. If, after the second pass, it still isn't solved, swap top to bottom one more time and solve down a third time. It will always be solved by the third pass in this manner.
For the circle puzzle, instead of solving down, you solve *around* until only a single tile is unlit.
Step on that unlit tile and then solve around again.
Once you get those, the end Monastery puzzle works exactly the same way... functionally... but it's harder because some tiles are missing.
As for the Reaver lever, you're probably missing the turn at the end. It isn't a straight shot there.
Think "Let Sleeping Dust Lie", as in the underwater tunnels at the beginning, but filled with spikes and not nearly as many turns.
