Teach me how to do this quest/raid!

I'm not going to be able to make the Titan tonight, I have to be at work extremely early tomorrow morning. Sorry, I was looking forward to learning Titan.

Yeah, you got me good on that one.

It was slow going tonight, but we learned the raid pretty well.
We did green very slowly so that everyone could see and take notes if they wanted, then we split for blue and yellow and they saw how yellow worked.
Then we went back and did purple, both legitimately and with the jump cheese.
Split for blue and red, where Green and Ebb learned the underwater.
Then we started over completely and split groups between green and purple.
Ebb and Green lead through red when they got there, with only a little outside commentary from myself while I was on the other side.

Everyone saw Titan and learned at least one job in there.
Ebberly on top buns.
Greenberry on bottom buns.
Ittybitty on the floor.
Myself, Lenthrael and Kylenor on laser.

My plan was to let Kyl and Len each take 1 shot with the laser, with me taking over afterward for a completion. Kyl's bun ran out a lot faster than we expected it to. Miss one. Then graphical errors abound. The laser wasn't where it looked like at some points, firing from a different place than it should have. Miss two. Then there was no laser animations anymore at all. Waiting for confirmation of a hit after *not* seeing the laser fire was nerve wracking. Then another short term bun spelled our doom.
Bad luck with those two buns and the graphics tonight.
That was my first ever failed Titan, but it was not because of inexperience, it was because of bad luck. And I knew it was always going to be a possibility for us to fail with me planning on letting the two first timers take a shot on laser. The margin for error went down to zero because of that. But I felt that risk was worth it for each of you guys to understand at least one job in there.

You guys all did great. We'll go next Tuesday again, or Saturday if you want instead, to get some loot. There's no doubt in my mind that you guys can do it.
The question is, are anyone's notes good enough to lead through green?

I would prefer next Tuesday rather than Saturday, if possible. But could do either one.

Watching a capped toon potentially get their brains eaten is far and away the best part of Titan. Hands down.

I was going to thank all of the rest of you, itty, eb, len, Kyl etc. but unfortunately I dc'ed after I got to Meridia. I don't usually leave parties without my good-byes. I did take notes in Green room so hopefully I can halfway get that in the future.

It was a great run and a great time. Props to Green for his tasty brains. I LOVE that we answered the call of an angry mind-flayer (one of the more frightening monsters in paper and dice) with a naked halfling.

I hope next tuesday is the day we do this again, I really can't do it saturday I have other obligations.

The failure of the run is really of no importance to me personally. If I had wanted a garauntee of completion I would have tried to find a group that I could have run in with and just stood around while I tried to look like I knew what I was doing. I hate doing that.

I really seriously had great fun doing this and look foward to the next time we can get together. As for the green side.... solving it is good, keeping the disk, is priceless.

I think I sorta get the green puzzle, though I haven't been through the route through the underwater one. Not really a bummer with the last Titan battle, but it was interesting and good to know.

I don't mind running it again, preferably next Tuesday night (US Central time).

Yay! I actually thought it was going to coincide with Mardi Gras and then no one would be safe from my antics (I am Cajun and Mardi Gras is a big deal to me! ), but the holiday is actually a week later. Ah well.

I've been telling Len all week that he's going to roll lowest and get his face eaten off, which means I'll probably end up with the lowest roll.

When you're able to schedule a run for Titan for the Euros, I'd love to be included. I'm 7 hours ahead of you (GMT+1) and can usually be on late evenings which would be around 4pm your time. Toon is Zillee (fighter). Thanks =)

Also interested in learning the maze in the Crucible, and that flying part in Reavers Fate so I'm not just piking in that raid.
