Default If you see someone walking around unguilded.

That is not an invitation to send a blind invite.

The worst is someone doing it mid quest with out asking.

This is the only server I've ever played on that does this.

Is it sad that I started my own guild that I put the toons I prefer to solo with in, purely to prevent those blind invites?

Just disable guild invites in the UI settings.

I'm thinking of starting a guild for soloists, any character, any way you want to play.

That way you can solo and do what ever the hell you want, while still being social, and having people to talk to during a quest.

doesn't every server have a guild called 'Unguilded' for this very purpose? also to gain access to basic ship amenities, guild vendors, and guild slotted items.

Just accept the invite, go onto their guild ship, and if they have a guild chest, clear it out.

As you finish clearing it out, thank the blind inviter in guild chat for all the free stuff, then leave guild.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Try to look at it in a positive light. You are so awesome that everyone wants you.

I haven't really noticed a rampant problem though. I've been guildless for a few weeks now and I've gotten on average only one blind invite a week. And my mule characters who have always been guildless have never once gotten an invite (granted I'm not on them too often).

iirc, Orien has no such guild, but as far as I know, there are some guilds which are quite laisser-faire in regards to guild duties and responsibilities, i.e. they have a ship for you and you collect renown for them.

Edit: I stand corrected. We do.

Nope. Exactly what I've done on Thelanis. It's even explicitly clear it's a solo guild (well, if you speak Japanese).

    Agreed.

It is your guild's resources, non-guildies are not entitled to your ships amenities.

Most guilds dont seem to mind passing around invites to the ship, but there are some that don't on the basis that you didn't help earn the amenities so you don't get access to them. There are an awful lot of negative reactions to the latter though.

Why would anyone go around unguided? If you don't want the social aspect and don't care/use ship buffs at least join a guild (such as unguided) so that you can use the ship transportation and make the run to the next quest easier. You don't have any gui
