Hey. It's Gotyour/Tyrantius. Just wanted to let you know my current gear setup and add some input on your planned one.

Currently I use:
Tharne's Goggles
+45 Hp Conc Opp GS Cloak
Epic Gloves of the Claw
Epic Bracers of the Claw
Torc / Tod Set +6 Con necklace
DT with: +5 resistance / magma surge guard / Freezing ice guard
+10% healing amp / +20% healing amp / Disintegration guard
+10% Incite / +15% Incite / Disintegration guard
GS with +150 SP and Permanent blur effect Boots
Minos (Will be replaced as soon as soon ASAP)
+6 Cha / +3 exceptional str ToD ring
+6 Str Junk ring --> Need encrusted.
Knosts belt for GFL and +6 Con
Litany of the dead / bloodstone / mysterious bauble / Eardweller

What I would suggest for your gear:
-Situationally have a Torin's Choker or other ToD neckie with superior potency 6 for when torc isn't really viable. And ofc all other amrath clickies.
-SOME form of GS spellpoint item (Can be swapped out such as with Tharnes)
-If you have eSoS.....destruction on DT is pointless.
-Personal preference but I believe Knosts/Encrusted set or Ravagers set to outweigh the bonuses of the epic abishai set. Your call in the end.
-No trinket mentioned. Assuming bloodstone/litany.
-The effects of your Dexterity ToD ring seem to be small compared to a set effect in my experience.
-Consider madstone boots situationally.
-GS HP belt seems messy as you will be constantly swapping out for Ardor clickies etc.


Overall decent gear setup just consider other options before making that many epic items for a toon.

Yep. As long as you still hit on a 2+, either two-piece set is more DPS than the three-piece Abashai set.

Seems like you're saying I should go more with :
Dual TOD sets (+2 str 20% AMP) And then Red dragon helm + GS HP/conc opp cloak and SP/XX boots?

I was basing the above setup on the assumption that I would be wearing torc full time, but i guess you don't wear torc very often? Is it even worth getting torc?

I plan to use Amaras/Tokalas for 18 minutes of superior ardor VIII, so I probably wont bother item/set devotion/potency.

A 3rd possibility I was thinking of was epic claw + abashai (to get 7cha and 7 con items) and then GS Conc opp/hp goggles, this setup loses tharnes though.

Without Toughness on another item I'd switch your docent over to Quorforged for Devils (Toughness + SFL) along with the Ravager set, and then switch to Epic Help of the Red Dragon with the FB set for things vulnerable to fire.

For mine my second GS item is my helm, since I won't get an extra STR bracket out of the Epic Helm. Frees my boots for Boots of Corrosion, which is a nice guard. (The Helm is Lightning Strike).

belt: epic belt of the mronan w toughness and GFL/tod heal clickies and jump
boots: GS 45 hp earthgrab
docent: DT 10% HA/20% HA/earthgrab - 10% incite/20% incite/20% HA
goggles:tharnes
trinket: epic bloodstone/epic dragon's eye/bauble/eardweller
ring: kyosho's (not upgraded yet, might do HA and switch some DT stuff around)
ring2:thamors w/+2 exc str
weap:esos/force burst rahls (**** you skellies!)/levik's defender - sur pot IV one hander (situational of course)

just my take on it...im sure there are other combos that outdo my setup

Googles - Lighthing Strike II GS Googles with healing lore and +3 excpetional Reflex Save. Swap Tharnes when do not have agroo or not healing bot mode.
Helm - GS Conc. Oppos. Helm Full SP
Cloak - GS Cloak Min II Full HP
Neck - Shintao Cord - Swap Torc when needed to regain some SP
Belt - Epic Belt of Mrorarnon - Slotted GFL Or Use ragaver/berserk Set. Slot GFL in somewhere else.
Boots - Epic Boots of Corrosion - Slotted +2 Luck Bonus, Cha +6
Bracers - Epic Bracers of Demons Consort - Slotted +4 Save, +1 Exceptional Dex
Docent - Epic Bladesmark Docent cant remember what i slotted here..
Trinket - Bloodstone (Litany if i Ever get my +4 STR Tome)
Gloves - Epic Spectral Gloves - the +4 hit bonus its just amazing for a Melee build.
Sword - Epic SoS / Min II
Rings - Kyosho Ring ( Slotted with +2 Con) and another generic ring. Usually i go for ravanger and shintao set, and slot +1 excepetional con and +6 Cha on the other items. cant remember which one now hmmm

But anyway heres the ideia of my setup gear.
