In case anyone asks why paladin attack boost? I had 2 points left and put 1 AP into +1 LoH and the last AP as a last thought to put into attack boost because of the miss chances I see sometimes. DMIII is the plan for this charcater since in my honest oppinion DMIV is a little expensive and a bit of lofty a goal to try for...Perhaps when they give us +5 tomes I will seek it out.

As for equiptment list, the character planner was a little limited in what I could put in since greensteel and DT armor were greyed out/inaccessable.

I am looking for positive suggestions as for alternatives to my choices, if any. I appreciate everyone in taking the time to look at this.

Here's a couple of things that should improve your character:

    1. Ditch diplomacy. It's a questionable choice to take if you're a Rogue, Arcane, or Divine (why should I have to deal with your inability to manage aggro?) and it's a bad choice for any other class. You're not squishy and you don't have sneak attacks -- stick those points into UMD instead.

    2. Several of your enhancement choices are questionable.

Greater Adaptability Charisma costs a chunk of AP and only gives a tiny bonus to your smite accuracy, LOH, and saves. Constitution would unlock Racial Toughness III and could also even up a HP score. Even cutting out Greater Adaptability would at least free up some AP's to spend elsewhere.

Attack Boost is a crummy enhancement. If you're having trouble hitting you should correct it through gear or feats - +2/hit x5 for 20 seconds does very little for you. Grab Human Versatility and use it for the damage or skill boost if you really need to burn an extra point.

Paladin Toughness IV costs way too much. Other get Greater Adaptability Constitution and take Racial III, or drop the last tier.

    ---------

I'm not sure of your full gear loadout, but strongly consider getting the Shintao set (+2 hit/damage) and Spectral gloves (+2/hit) to help with your accuracy. If you're still having problems (and run epics) I'd look at Raven's Eye, Gloves of the Claw, and Gem of Many Facets. Throw on Marilith Chain or make one of the new pirate hats Seeker +6 and you'll be golden.

Pardon if I may point this out noobishly or not, but you dont explain why to take umd other than to take it. It actually took a guildmate to explain why I would want UMD at all. All was clear when understanding Epic Chaosblades.

Would you mind giving examples of what to take or mock up?

Grab Human Versatility and use it for the damage or skill boost if you really need to burn an extra point. As I explained it was just something I dumped AP into using the character planner. Since this character exists currently as a drow I was unsure what was best to toss in. Changing from drow to human was considered after reading the passage from Junts's guide to paladins explaining a x2 weapon was subpar in epics.

Paladin Toughness IV costs way too much. Other get Greater Adaptability Constitution and take Racial III, or drop the last tier. Possible good point there, will have to investigate further when I have more time to play with the planner.

It has been already suggested to me that I lower str by 1 and increase con by 2. I do appreciate you trying to point that out though.
