Epic Brawling gloves cannot be upgraded

During the event i crafted the Epic Brawling Gloves lvl 20. There is 2 additional recipies for them in the treasure box to upgrade them to Upgrades 2 and 3 (which is supposed to add +7 STR bonus and a yellow augmentation slot).
But the normal lvl 20 gloves already have a +7 STR bonus which maybe a bug since they should only have +6. If you place them in the treasure box you do not get any recipe shown to upgrade them any further. Even if you select the recipe and add the gloves it does not show anymore. One person in my group said he got the same problem with the plate armor. Did anyone else have this problem?

I had the same issue attempting to upgrade the cavalry plate. The tier 1 is +6 when the recipe states that it should be +5

Yea many items are bugged and not upgrading as intended.

Ratkiller looked like it would upgrade properly, tho i was 100 dragonshards short.
