I work every weekend and always miss them. I used to live 3 blocks from quiet waters where they did the ren fest every year...grrr...

Isn't it in Deerfield Beach? Quiet Waters Park I believe. Not going this weekend but will sometime this season.

It is in Deerfield, and as always in Quiet Waters Park, I think it only runs 2 weekends but not positive.

no, the ren fest in deerfield changed last year and this to miami. (they even featured it on channel 7 just a few weeks ago when they had it).
The quiet waters one is no more (after the 2005 hurricane that place was pretty beat up and mowed down. They moved after the 2008 season I believe.

We used to go when we lived down there. We quit going because the prices went up and it mostly amounted to paying to get into a shopping center. The jousting was fun and the falconry guy was cool. Other than that, it was a disappointment. Then again, I am comparing it to Ren-fairs in other parts of the country. Where we are in Wisconsin has a really big one, but we have not made it there yet.
