Default returning player looking for a good guild :)

I am Morrn. I've been away from DDO since shortly after the free to play came out. My main toon is a lvl 10 cleric, obviously named Morrn

Now a little about myself. I love grouping. Soloing is ok, but to me this game really shines in its group play. I love trying to keep people alive. The reaction you get from people after throwing heals in a fast paced battle and keeping everyone alive, is awesome.

I'm looking for a guild where people group together alot. The best times I ever had in DDO was when I ran with a group of people that met through random pugging and we found that we just clicked really well. We were all new to DDO and had tons of fun every night grouping together. The group drifted apart over time due to real life.

I've never been on any of the raids in DDO and there is plenty of content that I've never run before. I've been in a couple of guilds over my time in DDO. My first guild fell apart due to the leadership disappearing from game and the guild just died lol. The other couple of guild I was in told me that I should join them and that they group alot.....but after joining I found myself playing mostly solo still lol.

So basically I'm a laid back dude and I like to have fun playing. I love grouping up and while I don't mind pugging sometimes, I would like to be able to run some of the harder content that pugs tend to wipe on lol.

I am free to play at the moment, but I will go VIP if I am able to find a good guild. I just don't want to sub and then find myself standing around town solo again LOL.

Thanks all, and I hope to see you in game!

Well, we are a guild with only 2 active players and a couple of others that pop in once in a while. We generally run together or jump into/create a PUG. We are decent players and are pretty social. You can shoot me a message if you want to hang out with us for a while before you find a bigger, better bunch.

We even have a guild airship, although it closely resembles an old john boat.

my best advice is just play, make a note of the people you have the most fun with, add them to your friends list. Seek them out by sending a tell like "Hey, it's so and so, anything going on?"

Keep track of the guild tags and keep and eye out for their LFMs and you WILL find a good place to be.

And you certainly could do a LOT worse that Ringos, so take him up on his offer.

    Default look us up

The Order of the Phoenix, we are a casual guild, and we have a decent number of people (in guild of course) that also enjoy group questing like u describe. having higher, mid level, and lower level toons...
If youre interested or have any other questions, kutasarri, xelandra, myself, or any others in guild currently could help.

You probably got snatched up by one of the fine people who have posted in this thread, but I think this is a good time to try out my new recruitment pitch and get some feedback.

    Here goes:

Like travel and adventure? Want to be in a guild your mother wouldn't disinherit you over? Kicked out of your last guild for an illicit relationship with a goat? Foreign Legion is the guild for you! As a limited time bonus, you get your own small, cramped, and ill-kept bunk aboard our level 48 airship... It's the same size as mine! Cooking, impaling, shoe polishing, and synchronized swimming skills are a bonus. Send a PM if interested, or find a nicer officer. If you play DDO a lot too, that's great... I guess.

Oh ya, Aerimorla is currently level 10 on his first TR... I'll try to see if I can hit you up when I'm on (but not over the next 3 days, I'm traveling).

This is probably the best advice. When you see recurring tags during your playtimes and you've run with some of them and like what you see you're 3/4 the way to having a guild you'll enjoy being in.
