    Default Agro problems in tod

Not sure the exact cause of this, but in tod/echrono, i keep pulling aggro from just about any tank i run with. the only thing that has changed has been using the kotc set. Is this a function of the xtra damage from the set or is it a bug? Do i just need to change my tactics-stop using divine sac, stop attacking that sort of thing?

    thanks in advance-

    1. Use attack abilities sparingly and turn off powerattack

    2. Use sets that you can swap to prior to the fight in order to reduce your threat generation. Tharnes, Nyoko's, Venom/Epic Venom set

    3. If you have the HP, you'd be better off tanking

    1. Big chunks of damage in little time (like smites, tod, a crit divsac) tend to pull aggro. Try to give a bit more head start to the tank before starting to spam them and use only one smite/sac in every 5-10 sec.

    3. Pulling aggro does not mean he could keep it.

If you find yourself pulling aggro but aren't suited to tanking, spend a little time attacking Orthons (assuming your group has some melees doing that, our guild elite runs almost always have an arcane and a Stunning Blow/Fist melee and another melee killing them.

    Default Hey

Have had the same prob even when i am being catoius of my smite spaming........I weild an esos an am horc, an gthf feats. I pull aggro from everyone an every body vs. devils....... I suggest either u give the tank more time or u just tank lol

It used to upset me when I was pullin aggro, cause i wasn't supposed to but after a while it gets kinda like...well the tank should have more dps....I will just tank lol

Please don't do this unless you have appropriate HP, healing amp and/or AC.

If I'm healing ToD, I'll let someone that isn't suited to tank but tries to take over the tanking die and not raise them, unless they agree to replace all the mana pots that their stupidity costs. Especially WF barbs with a devil's ruin eSOS, or WF paladins with a silver eSOS.

Healing a no-healing amp, no mitigation toon through elite Horoth+Suulo takes about 20 mana pots in most groups, healing a decent tank like a human barb with healing amp and mediocre DPS takes about 200 scrolls.

Unfortunately, as I found out the last time I had someone try to take over tanking in a ToD, there is nowhere in the room that you can leave their soulstone where they cannot reach the shrine at the end, unless you are willing to lose loot yourself and D-Door out with their stone.

Again, make sure you give the tank roughly five - 10 seconds to build up agro.

Bring your KOTC and lets see if you steal agro from Afro :P

If you have enough HP to tank, you may consider trying it out. Don't just assume that if you steal agro that you can tank, however.

With Divine Rit, you can keep agro easily iirc
