    Default Video Card Advice

I am looking to buy a realtively in expensive video card (no more than $150) and I am not sure what to get. I am strongly considering this card:

I do not know if there are any drawbacks to this card, and if there is a better option. Any advice would be appreciated.

No drawbacks to the card itself.

As regards your PC it's going in to:

    • Ensure you have sufficient cooling.
    • Ensure you have sufficient power supply and enough connectors.
    • Ensure you have the 2 slots required for this card, with nothing in the 3rd slot that would block the fan.
    • DirectX 11 will only be possible under Windows 7 operating system.
    • Check the PCI-E is x16 to take full advantage of the card.
    • Ensure your display screen ahs HDMI or DVI input and is sutiable for taking advantage of the resolutions the card makes possible.
    • That the other components (CPU;Ram; HDD) are in line with this upgrade.
