sadly it's not.... I think this update 8 patch 1 was a big let down for a lot of people....

Communication is the key devs... It wouldn't be a let down if we knew what was coming....

Is this company really powered by it's fans? or are we talking about windmills? please let me know...

I want to know what happened to this:

...we've been under the gun in a big way trying to make deadlines and...<snip> growing pains from trying to implement content based on new tech, etc etc etc.

I don't see a live event and a traveler festival having a whole lot of new tech involved.

Actually, I suspect the new tech is something mechanical that allows them to simply do something that they could not do before. It might not be something even noticeable by the playerbase. Keep in mind that the last mention of new tech was something that allowed for the Ice Storm spell to be changed to do damage overtime. Something I would not have thought of as 'new tech' but apparently it was.

I think yer not taking into account that when the dev's refer to deadlines, they are talking about pax east deadline. not this lil U8 update 1.

In this case they got the fanbase right for once, black armor was on a lot of the armor kit feedback.
