well, good luck getting it done fast when you're stuck waiting for the tiny portion of the server that actually has run with you often enough for you to remember them to apply.

I have seen this in the past, like 2008ish when running Shroud, and it is STILL hilarious that people try to slip under the radar.

Yeap. WOW and EQ are tier based raiding games, where you need solid players with tier 5 gear to raid tier 6 content. The gear speaks for itself at that point. If someone has T5 gear, they had to raid for months at that level while equipped with tier 4 gear, months before that to get their t4 gear while equipped at t3 etc. I dont know how much of WOW we want to borrow for DDO however. We already have EQs dual wield / double attack melee system.

See if you can spot the error in your own logic there.

Those are my LFMs, I don't want to "teach" someone how to get through those epic raids, I don't want the casters/healers to waste pots due to someone that doesn't have a clue causing issues, what I do want is a raid that's quick and painless. If you don't like my LFMs, don't apply. I suggest you throw up your own LFM for the same raid and possibly go through the learning curve like the rest of us did when the content was first introduced.

But also take this note. The only time I myDDO anyone is if I'm pugging something, and someone from a 'deny them always' guild hits it. Sarlona has many. Most people autodecline, I hit myDDO. If the dude is geared and set up competently (doesn't have to have raid gear or anything, just a setup that makes sense) I let them in. If their setup is trash, they get a deny.

If I see a timestamp that tells me myDDO is out of date for them, they get a deny (unless I happen to know the person, in which case I wouldn't myDDO anyways).

There is one other use I had for myDDO. I was using it to keep tabs on a certain someone's gear loadout and feed info to a few individuals on recommended tactics. Many of these moments led to some excellent forum drama. I personally don't PvP here much (I play EVE for that).
Tee hee just to **** you off, ima find some nublet gear and toss that on whenever i Log out

You've seen me in action so prob won't have the desired effect, but still, if someone with same idea as you tries this and does accept me it would be pretty funny.

My gimpy elves are being played! In Skyrim!

There have been rumblings that perhaps I would try coming back. But everytime I do, I come here and read the Dev posts and decide that, no, I don't want to come back after all.

I do hope that people see my wizard with 370 HP at level 15 and watch what he can do (not just cause of his HP mind you) and have a look at their own builds (which sometimes have half or less) again and reassess their priorities.

Probably hoping in vain but oh well.

I saw an LFM the essentially said "No noobs" or "Don't click on this if your a noob". There was one spot left and all the classes were available. I think I have a screen shot of what the quest and leader were, but I am not at my computer that has the screen shot. Anyway... I was looking for xp and I was on my level 18 reincarnate rogue, so I click on it.

I waited and waited for around 5 minutes. I get a reply, "Are you serious?" then the message that I was declined. I mean I know that people I run with sometimes think I'm a noob, but I didn't recognize the person, so I was kinda curious what he was referring to, but I waited about 3 or 4 minutes and simply replied "Have a Nice Day..."

Another minute goes by and I get "145 hp, really? Get some Hit Points"

Now, I am scratching my head on what the heck he is talking about. It took me about 5 mintues to realize that the last time I had logged out was after fighting the beholder in Soami Gardens and had 12 or was it 14 negative levels...

I got a chuckle to myself, but I figured I would explain to the guy. So I replied with what happened.

I asked him where he got his information (ok, so I had realized this by now, but I had to make sure, right?). He, of course, replies with "myddo". Then, I proceed to tell him the story. He replies, "you should log out and back in again then". For some reason, I found this a bit rude, so I just replied: "Its really not worth my time. Have a good day."

I think the final reply I got was: "Noob. Have a good day"

Now... I realize that some people like to use myddo for this kind of stuff, but do you have to be that lazy when you do it as well. Couldn't you take the time to do a slight bit of math?? I mean the gear that shows up on my toon at the time I logged was Menos Legons, one of the con6/gfl belts from Amarath, a con score in the mid 20s, etc. Now, I realize that he might not been able to tell that I have the toughness feat or the toughness enhancements, but... my standing hit points before buffing are 399 (I realize it isn't 500, but...)

I mean you might think I'm a noob for not being able log out/back in. Or you might think I'm a noob for not having 500 hp. Or you might just know me and think I'm a noob, but seriously... if you think you can get to level 18 and have 145 hp, you might want to look at your own noob meter...
I like it and I like that you remained polite.

I've had many people tell me what my characters can't do. Its kinda funny that way. Best thing about that is you often bump into them again and get the chance to prove them wrong.

By the way, am I the only one who purposely puts on a few random items before I log out just to make sure myddo looks weird to people who want to "check me out" that way?
