(CNN) -- NBC's cult hit comedy, "Community," which revolves around a study group at a community college, has a collection of very odd characters, but the oddest of all has to be Abed, played by Danny Pudi.

Abed is the pop-culture obsessed nerd savant, who can always be trusted to bring a new perspective to every situation. In Thursday night's episode, the group delves into the world of "Dungeons & Dragons."
