    Lightbulb As there were Kobolds...

I know that there are a few more classes which would be added before Kobolds, but it seems that they get a huge fan group. Now, i want to add myself:

There are 2 races i'd like to add too. Another race has already sprites also.

    Sahuagin:

Yes, Sahuagin. I mean, it'd look cool, and would be viable. +2 INT, +2 STR and -2 CHA and -2 DEX should be good. +4 to swim, +2 to hide, listen and spot. A bit like here, but something changes: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/sahuagin.htm

    Dragonborn:

They were in 3.5. I'd love to play with this, and definately would buy it. +2 STR, +2 CHA and -2 DEX. Can be changed. They'd have +2 to elemental damage saves, +2 fortitude save. Here some info: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/3.5_Dra..._Supplement%29

Of course, these are suggestions. Sign if you want, i just wanted to say it here

Didn't we just get 2 new races.

Time to work on classes and epics.

    /sortasigned for dragonborn.... I guess

/notsigned for Sahaguin..... I kill them, I don't want to play them

    Thumbs down

Seeing how the thread went when someone suggested the playing of Kobolds (partly my fault), I eventually had to say that if you want to play a Kobold (if they were introduced) then play a Kobold.

But there is no way I would run with someone playing a Sahuagin, you must be joking.

As for Dragonborn: I don't really have an opinion, that Race has been discussed on a least one thread before and despite it been pointed out that they were introduced in 3.5 Edition, they certainly look like a 4th Edition race to me and I have no idea how they would fit in Eberron.

Well i'm not happy with them. Either more races or classes.

Well Sahuagin was just a quick one, i hadn't even thought of that much.

Dragonborn though would be great. At least something like +2 STR or CHA and -2 DEX would be enough. No fire breathing or something like that. Resistance of 5 to one elemental should be enough. And despite the fact that they wouldn't fit in there, it'd be a great add-on.

PREs for all classes before we start talking and vasting Development on stuff that 1 or 2 people might consider.

Gnomes first. Then Shifters, Kalashtar, Changelings, or WF Scouts.

Finish the 3.5 and Eberron Core races before adding Fluff races.

    Dragonborn is a fluff race.
Sahuagin is an enemy, not a player race.

    vasting??

Trying to go all V&M with it, eh?

(I think they developed enough vast a long time ago to last for several more years yet.)

According to 4e Eberron's Campagin Guide and Player's Guide, there are 2 main homelands of dragonborns in Eberron. The main one are the ones who share part of Q'Barra with troglodytes and other lizardfolks, some even staying into a primal state. Another option are some that stay in some islands around Argonessen.

The basic 4e lore of "descendants of a great fallen empire" is moot at Eberron 4e. The monster race that fit this niche are the goblinoids (mostly hobgoblins).

What i find funnier is people saying dragonborn looks is too linked to 4e, but the 3e default half-dragons are exactly like the 4e dragonborns (visual only).

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Aasimar please. That's really the only new race I'd like to see added.

As far as new classes and races go, druid and gnome would be top of the list.
Then maybe kobold is climbing ranks, the next might be aasimar, thiefling and the eberron core races.
And naturally let's give the devs a chance to finish the PrEs too.

i see less than no reason to do any of these races before kobolds. i want to make a level 20 kobold barbarian named mr treason and run around the waterworks.

Thri-Kreen! Gimme weird insects that noone can relate to, so I can talk funny in guild chat and annoy my guildies on a higher level than before. Oh, yes. Guild griefing ftw.

Some people may not relate how fun that was. Thri-Kreen in Eberron are native to Xen'drik.

The only problem with dragonborn/aasimar/tieflings etc. I have is that they are definitely supposed to be an extreme rarity, not the norm; hell, I think Sorcs are supposed to be an exceptional class not a core class; people aren't supposed to be able to naturally manipulate magic.

That said, I'd be cool with dragonborn/aasimar/tieflings etc. if they required a pretty large sacrifice, and WEREN'T better than the core races (with most of these races that means introducing, yes, level adjustment): What I'm thinking is some kind of storyline option that requires total sacrifice of some character you pumped alot of time into: such as a True Reincarnatation option that allows you to "reincarnate with a planar touch"(Tiefling and Aasimar), except that this Reincarnation wouldn't give you extra attributes, wouldn't give you a past life feat, and would require 5 Epic Raid tokens in addition to the 20 Epic tokens. And something like that with every "Ooh, aah, that isn't normal Race/Class". Then I'd be cool with these weird classes/races that would break every aspect of immersion if everyone ran around with them.
Let like stacking bonuses scale down tiers; i.e. wearing a +2 dodge/excep. item and a +2 dodge/excep. item currently is only +2; let the 2nd +2 item imitate a +1 item, giving you +3. Allow this for all stacking bonuses (Heal. Amp 30->20->10) Absorption (20->15->10)etc. Lowest tier bonuses (10 Heal Amp, 10 absorb, 1 dodge) do not scale down ever.
