    O.o

You made yourself pretty obvious there...OP, please don't use this build, don't subject us to it.
you really need heighten on FoD lol? I mean do you really use it? If so, sorry, but "you're not a particularly usefull caster", work on your DCs. You use both empower and maximize on fw? waste of mana bro... l2p. GTWF for vorping? really? How about vorp in main hand and some nice seeker in off-hand? how about iTWF is enough on a freakin wizard anyway?

I actually have a halfling wizard level 20 and I will tell you this. He is my first and most favorite character to play, period. I have full dragonmark lines, umd, and shortly will be lr him into an archmage as well. It can all fit if you take the time to set it up right. I don't have access right now to my build but I can get if you want it, just pm me.

Point about the enhancements - it's true that halfling enhancements don't mesh with wizards but because your so short on enhancement points already this opens up a lot of possibilities like including full dragonmark lines etc..

Personally I think a halfling makes the best wizard, besides of course a wf. Though that is strictly my personal opinion. And I'm a little bias. I love my little guy .

Here's an updated version of an older build of mine: Dragonmarked halfling rogue 2 / wizard 18 Pale Master. The original requester wanted a 28-pt midget wizard with trap skills and some self-healing from the DMs. The original build predates the wizard PrEs, so ironically it's less desirable now than it was back then: PM consumes at least 2 feats (3 if you want wraith form), so fitting in the DMs is a lot harder than it used to be; and once you hit wiz 12, you gain self-healing in lich / wraith form, rendering the DMs somewhat redundant. [Even so, one of the later metamagics can be dropped for Greater DM.] Still, maybe it'll give you some ideas.

If that works for you, great. But it is definately not a new player friendly build. You said its a double TR, chances are you have a lot of gear that makes this work adequately.

There are many more ways to increase stats. Dont sell yourself short. Max int and look for the other ways to keep it up (tomes/exceptional/guild/pots/etc.).
First they laughed at me when I made a drow rogue.
Then they laughed at me when I went dex based.
Next they laughed at me when I went pure.
    Guess who's laughing now?

2TR's are cool because of freeing up a spell-pen feat, and adding some extra build points, not really that necessary but helps, stockpiled gear too.

If you want just one dimensional, pure caster then yeah guys're right, probably a WF archmage or human/drow PM are the best. This one tho, is quite similiar to 18/2 palemaster/monk builds I'm seeing lately, just some rogue flavor instead of kung-fu. I mean if you go 18/2rogue, just for evasion and traps, why not add some TWF and stealth too, halflings perfect for that.

I really can't say anything more. Good luck with your fail-bot...good luck. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it for a few levels.

I have a halfling wizard that I love to play on however there is nothing on him that is specific to a halfling. Just build the wizard you want on a halfling and have fun. My halfling wizard is my only character that wears the top hat just for show it adds aflavor to him.

Yes I did and thanks to all, even the degraders

I took a look at your Tim build and may give it a whirl.
