ToD - What am I doing wrong...

I just reincarnated and now have ToD.

I have not landed it even once, so I must be misunderstanding something about how it works or doing something wrong.

In combat with more than 50 ki I click on ToD. The cooldown cycle happens, but no ki is lost and no damage is done.

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong? (this is over and over, i have not had it work even once)

Looks like I figured it out. The problem was that ToD was on a hotkey using "shift+2" (2 is the normal dark attack, shift+2 was ToD)

For some reason that stopped it from working. I can use other skills on that hotkey without any problem. For some reason ToD doesn't work on it at all.

Moving ToD to hotkey 4 solved the problem.
