Just like the title says, I want to share a build I've been working on for the past few hours...
My goals with this post are to...
Get some feedback
Establish viability
Compare and contrast other build ideas
A few quick notes,
This build has inherent flaws im aware of, I completely tooled around with skills. They are almost completely randomized, im hoping anyone considering this build will tailor skills to suit one owns preference anyways.
Second major error I made was spending 1 AP too many, it left me unable to take slaying arrows, ( in-game this would obviously be corrected, I did not feel it necessary to go back and redo all 80 AP's for this though, it is understood as a construction flaw.)
This build is made for 2H fighting,(centered around falchion.)
I understand this is not optimal DPS but it is optimal personal preference.
I also used a 34 point build (as this toon {if made} will be a TR of one of mine)
Im considering re-working starting stats based off advice and feedback (str is maxed)
Used 4 total +2 Tomes at lvl 7, (assumption is that anyone TR'ed will have access to +2's)
So...now that everyone understands where I stand on this,
and all the inherent negatives have been disclosed..
Lets discuss some pro's and con's
The Goods:
I don't think you could beat a build for pure ranged DPS
[from my understanding this build has ALL ranged feats/enhancements/kensei/racial bonuses/ what have you]
It succesfully incorporates damage bonus from longbow spec, elven ranged damage/ and longbow mastery.
This build has potential for maxed UMD (assuming you don't jack around with skills like I did)
And obviously has enough room for whatever else you wanted, my thoughts were 1 maxed, or 2 decent skills.
Pretty decent HP for a elf raced ranger (322 unbuffed)
A little synergy with wizard, basic level one spells.
And Rogue Sneak attack damage bonuses (although keep in mind something must be cut for SlayArrow)
Maxed out 2H fighting capabilities, with rather high STR for an elf.
The not so goods:
No evasion-half ass saves anyways
No Ram's Might (wince*)
Not alot of wiggle room for other feats-ideas
No barkskin, unless you sack something for the TR feat [I couldn't make up my mind...barkskin or P.A????]
So...taking all this into consideration, what do you think?
I'm completely open to all ideas-comments-dark insinuating comments about my mothers chastity-racial slurs
My major questions...
Should STR remain maxed? Will AC take too much of a hit w.o barkskin for melee?
What do you forsee the solo capability looking like?
Can feats/enhancements be re-arranged for an easier leveling experience???
Have I made a completely glass cannon even MORE fragile??

After looking it all over, of course you find errors AFTER you post...
It seems somehow I got out of selecting a class feat at lvl 2 upon taking wizard, not sure how I managed that with DDO Toon planner...either way
I imagine Mental Toughness would be the best option
there it is...
