    FE: Oozes.

"When struck in melee, you damage your opponent's weapon, just as if the opponent was striking an ooze".

Would be awesome for the first 2 weeks when it breaks raid-boss weapons, then it'd get nerfed to work only on trash.

I would love to see this FE idea fleshed out by the community. It may need it's own thread.

While it's unlikely we'd get it, I'm thinking of something like the following, which to me seems worthwhile but not unreasonable or overpowered.

    Ranger Favoured Strike

    Favoured Strike I - ML 4, 1 AP
Your study of your favoured enemies has given you knowledge of how to pierce their defences. Your attacks now bypass 10% fortification on favoured enemies.

Favoured Strike II - ML 8, 2 AP

Your continued study of your favoured enemies has given you improved knowledge of how to pierce their defences. Your attacks now bypass 20% fortification on favoured enemies.

Favoured Strike III - ML 12, 3 AP

Your intensive study of your favoured enemies has given you great knowledge of their anatomy. Your critical threat range when attacking favoured enemies is increased by 1.

Favoured Strike IV - ML 16, 4 AP

Your near-obsessive focus on your favoured enemies has given you the ability to deal devastating damage to your foes. You add 1 to the critical multiplier of all confirmed critical hits.
this would prob be over powered but rangers in epic got something called bane of enemies pretty much making any weapon the ranger weilds to be a bane weapon vs favoured enemies.

They should port the Ranger skill from 4.0 called "Hunter's Quarry" to ddo. A ddo translation would essentially look like this:

    Hunter's Quarry
levels 1-7: Extra 1d6 damage per attack to your designated quarry.
levels 8-15: Extra 2d6 damage per attack to your designated quarry.
levels 16-20: Extra 3d6 damage per attack to your designated quarry.

So basically a lesser bane effect escalating to a greater bane effect as you gain ranger levels. They could set it up like paladin smite evils where they recharge every 1 minute 30 seconds. You'd get a bane effect on that enemy until it dies allowing you to deal with non favored enemies better or to take down high priority targets quickly. To keep it balanced for bosses give it a duration of 20 seconds on them just like an action boost. For a new capstone focused on this they could make:

    Ranger Capstone: Everything is Prey

Hunter's Quarry Damage increased by 3d6 for a total of 6d6 bane damage. You also gain 5% double strike against your quarry. Recharge rate of Hunter's Quarry reduced in half to 45 seconds. +2 Strength and Dexterity.

This skill would be a nice boost to both melee and ranged rangers. And it would give them one more skill to give them a little bit more engaging combat. Thoughts?

It's from Baldur's gate video game, Minsc is a ranger who has a pet hamster named Boo, and that is one of things he shouts in combat.
