Spammer guilds rush to the top and eventually die hard as there was never any sense of community built up in them.

On Khyber I know of a few more spammer guilds but will not mention them. When or if they eventually fall or fail we will all know.

Spammer guild = A guild that focuses on getting as many members in it as possible for seemingly the sole purpose of swelling its ranks for ship buffs regardless of the quality of the player in game or real life. These guilds are usually unorganized and may rarely if ever even quest together.

Actually I wanted to shame them out of the woodwork, kinda see what they have been up to.

Hard to do there, thats why I didnt hit that place first.

I have asked around and indeed a lot of Epitaph members have joined "THE HELPERS GUILD".

It makes sense, they are able to be invited to groups on guild name alone, and then let others find out later how good of a player they really are.

A guy named ******** infiltrated Epitaph in July 2010 and alphabetically kicked 100 members.
Today 2-25-2011 the same thing happened, a sad and miserable officer who didnt log on for months came back and kicked all the non officer members. Lost about 150k renown and a lvl (50 -> 49).
That's too bad because there is 915 astral diamonds (worth about 20000 turbine points, $200) in the guild bank.
What a waste.

There is a sense of community in Epitaph. Not all but some members know each other, sometimes IRL friends, and talk in guild chat.

First of all: Do you see a trend?
Secondly: He didn't "infiltrate" anything. He was invited in. Probably on the beach in Korthos or in front of the mailbox in the Harbor. And surely without asking for the invitation. That's not an "infiltration" by any definition of the word.
