AK47 Channel open applications

In DDO there are many channels, some more known about then the others. Most are created to have a collection pool of players that can be counted on a little more then the general public pug, while others may be just a way of communication between friends or allied guilds etc. As a few of you out there know I created a channel a few months back called the AK47 channel. The last month or 2 I have been so busy handling my own affairs I haven't given the channel the attention it would need to grow. At first this channel was to be more of a private channel of friends that I enjoyed grouping with. Now as time has passed and many self debates I have decided that I want to change the dynamics of this channel.

It's hard to be in control of a channel, as you have to be the good guy that lets people in, and the bad guy at the same time to deny the players you think just don't make the cut. Such is life I guess. It can be complicated to figure out who gets along with who, who is a great player with a bad personality, who has a great personality with horrible gaming skills etc... In the end I realize that their are other good players out there in the game outside of the channels I have been brought up with. There are some pugs I have grouped with that I have enjoyed to be around that have not shown anything other then potential and that is what I think I want above all else is: Personality, and potential.

So with that said I wish to extend an offer to anyone that is interested in joining, that thinks they stand out enough to make the cut. Each week I will open some quests/raids for players wishing to join this channel and give them a test drive to see how they are. You don't have to be the best of players, you don't have to be geared out to the teeth, but you will be judged on different aspects of the game by myself and others. If there is an agreement then you will be given the channel information, and if not better luck next time, life goes on yadayada...

Channel Goals:
I want a bigger pool of players that can be used to fill more raids faster. That is the priority, however I want the level of play to stay strong. I want this channel to be a channel that can be counted on and most importantly I want it to be a channel where people can bullsh*t around and have fun. I don't want players that can't take some trash talk, I don't want players that are there to fill the halls with complaints. It's going to be an everything goes, if you don't agree with something then feel free to speak your mind. I think this channel could be a great way to draw out some of those players that are good, or have the potential to be good players, but haven't had a chance yet in game to show it or just arn't enough well known yet to get discovered by the Elite.


If you would like to join this channel simply send me a pm or contact me in game and I'll put your name down on the list and make time to group with you or get you in a raid I am in to see how you run. This will not be a channel for inviting all of your friends, if you make it in and your friend doesn't no hard feelings, you either join or you don't.

I have but a few simple rules of the channel listed below that I ask be followed:

1. Have thick skin (If you can't handle an argument then don't give one or don't join. Simple.)

2. Everyone has an equal chance to apply (I don't care where you started in game, what guild you are in, as long as you have what it takes you are equal to everyone else there.)

3. No reporting players (If you have a serious issue keep it in channel, Private or if you have to just Squelch and move on.)

4. Most importantly Have fun (Its been said before and it will be said again, if your not having fun don't play)

Because it's one of the best hybrid weapons ever made. The name has a Zing about it making it cool and well it sounded good at the time. In all honestly it doesn't really matter what you name the channel its the player make up that makes a channel good or bad.

I dont really care as im not even on your sever...but it was the previous post that caught my eye and had me re-read your rules. I think he may have a point.

Well what it comes down to is this channel is an adult channel. Not that I am promoting that conflicts should arise, but rather I don't want people banned in my channel for speaking their mind. It's very quite simple, if you don't want to deal with it you don't have to join. I don't see any problems with this. I also don't see why you comment if you really don't care, but too each his own I guess.

If you don't like the rules then you don't have to join the channel. Too many instances of dirtbags reporting other folks in private channels for this, that or another. OMG, you hurt my feelings and now I'm going to tell.

On a side note id be intrested in joining (gasoline), that is if i can make the cut.

My play times is non existance for then next few weeks though, because im moving atm. By next month i sould be all settled in.
