Leveling up a Monk2/Pal2/Sorc16 and so far it's a blast. Very Tukaw-like (Rog2 instead of Monk2 for folks who aren't familiar w/ the difference). Monk gives me 2 more feats and loses UMD as a class skill (and trap/locks, but that doesn't really bother me).
Feat-wise I've got 2 monk and 7 normal to choose from. Monk lets me shift PA and Toughness out of the general category.
2 monk: Power Attack, Toughness
7 normal: extend, empower, maximize, quicken, improved crit slashing, OPEN, OPEN
So, 2 feats ... options and opinions please (feel free to suggest things I'm not seeing)
- I could go a more vanilla DPS route with THF, ITHF ... won't get the full chain, but I could stack this w/ WF enhancements possibly and not need to twitch as much. Without the 3rd though, I'm not sold.
- Force of Personality could be nice, but really not sure how much use the extra +4 or so will saves will be
- Quickdraw ... I'm really considering this one - the ability to slot in potency/greenblade quickly and then back to my SoS or other would be nice; if it helps the speed at which I can turn on my DP clickies and switch gear, even better.
- Skill Focus UMD ... kinda missing my no-fail UMD (previous life was bard)
- PL Bard ... +1 to Intim and UMD, 3x weak inspire courage
I don't think I'll really keep my STR sustained high enough to have a consistently useful Stunning Blow; one of the beauties of the build is the quickened self-reconstruct combined w/ Torc/Con-Op and that's awfully difficult to do when Madstoned.
I'm kinda leaning towards PL Bard and Quickdraw. Hit me back w/ your opinions please!
