Nope, not watching the stupor bowl. TV isn't even hooked up and could not care less about it. A bunch of guys running back and forth grabbing pigs is not my idea of a good time. To those who enjoy this type of entertainment that's your prerogative but I'd rather be playing DDO.

The only thing I really cared about this Superbowl was the commercials.
However I must say that the half time "show" was the WORST Superbowl halftime show in history.
Black Eyed Peas SUCCCKKKKKKKK. Even half of the Who put on a better show last year, and they're like 90 years old!!

1) You are in a huge stadium without being able to put speakers anywhere in sight. This makes you either have the speakers under the stage which is almost impossible to setup in the limited time you have, or use the stadium speaker systems which I doubt are really made for anything but public address announcing.
2) The ammount of hype on the performance lends itself to leading to disappointment and half baked guest star ideas, ie Britney Spears with Aerosmith or Slash with BEP.
3) With all the varied music tastes you can't please everyone.
Seeing those 3 factors I just take it in stride and hope they actually don't lipsync their way through it which BEP definitely didn't do. Oh and Fergie sounded better on Sweet Child of Mine than Axl Rose would have sounded. I've seen G'n'R live when they were not Axl and a backup band and his vocals made me cringe.Last edited by Elyanna; 02-08-2011 at 08:32 AM.
